Come to America. Seriously, consider immigrating (to a free state). It might take a long range plan to do it. We need more people like you to be here and to be active to stave off gun grabbers. If America and the constitution goes down, there will no other place to go and live freely. I talked to an Australian who did exactly this.

i hated hearing people trying to tear up my 9mm or 40 saying i was underpowered, which is b.s. and most of them were 45acp folks. i love all calibers but wanted to completely avoid the argument and got a glock 20. you simply cannot top the power with a small frame auto..period. 10mm is where its at if you wanna kill a human or a bear in a self defense situation.
@Czechmate9911 жыл бұрын
Agreed. I currently use an XD45 with extended magazines (16+1) to compete with the capacity of standard 9mm service pistols but the extra velocity and sheer power of the 10mm definitely makes up for 1 less round.

What's the TNP thoughts on .357 SIG? State troopers in the Volunteer state carry it, and I have it on authority from local law enforcement that it's penetration power into vehicles is superior to what most LEOs carry (TN), the .40.

+David It's a cool cartridge, but we haven't gotten one since we're at critical mass for calibers. As a carry or defensive ctg, it's great! As a plinker or test platform, a little too much cost to be worth adding a whole new set of mags and ammo. -TD

i own a g21(sf) AND IT'S EXCELLENT another beautiful thing is that anyone who owns the G21 can just buy a complete G20 and swap the lowers and u have the same exact lower for each upper. just buy the specific magazines they both fit the same mag well. this will save u from buying both weapons. but still being able to shoot both calibers

I like your points around 14 to 16 minutes in, and a 357 sig is great for that also. And is a great round. But it's pretty hard to find handguns with the features that i like chambered in 357 sig. 10mm is also my favorite round, it's funny how many people try to deny it potential as a carry round.

Great review, I love my 10mm Glocks. The 10mm really is one of the most versatile pistol rounds. With the proper load it is an awesome self defense round and an ideal woods gun. Word of advise to fellow viewers, if you become serious about the 10mm you need to reload your own rounds. Underwood makes incredible ammo and even if you reload you won't be able to touch their FPS numbers, however, you can reload your own practice 10mm ammo for as little as .30 cents per round.

Side note. It seems that in a staph comparison into energy delivered to target, the 10mm beats a 5.56 in same barrel length rifles under 16 inches. Meaning, you Need about 15 or so inches to get the power of the 5.56 beyond that of the 10mm in the same length barrel. That is why you can hunt from a 6 inch barrel glock 20 at 75 yards.

Still rockin my custom G20... after 2 years. Out of all my handguns (which I have a LOT) the Glock 20, chambered with my own Montana gold reloads or Federal HST reloads is flawless, zero failures with a 22lb recoil spring and KKM Match barrel and handles almost everything perfectly. Love the gun. It's what I carry no matter where I go in the wilderness, or even to the range. It has been my #1 gun since I got it. Incredible ballistics, makes crap fly long and makes stuff shatter or explode better than any other handgun I own, including my 357 mag, my 45.. everything. Love the 10mm. The biggest hidden secret in handguns and handgun rounds. Love watching this video just to confirm how smart I was when I bought that 10mm.

You can put a Mech Tech system in 10 mm on a large frame Glock frame, making it a handy carbine, and they might have a 10 mm option for a 1911 frame too, not sure. Then there were the 10 mm FBI MP5s, so it's possible there could be an H&K 94 option in 10 out there, although I haven't seen one before. At least we know magazines exist for that though.

my guess for the cause of the failure to eject on the 20 is cuz when you were using the bench as a rest you were limp wristing it. its possible you need a firm grip on the 20 cuz of that tough spring meant to handle the 10mm. limp wrist shooting can sometimes not allow the slide to make a full stroke.

I wanted to let you know if you don't already, I shoot 40sw with a conversion barrel from lonewolf, that's it! no mag replacements, they fit perfect in 10mm mags, no malfunctions yet, underwood is my fav ammo to use full power 10s when im havin fun to save money ill switch barrels, one thing I love is my 5.2 inch ported barrel by lone wolf too help with the mussel flip alil I think you would love it. I experienced some FTE like you when I first started shooting it FYI it was my first gun....... yes I started with a G20 and I probably was limp risting but I have a lot of haters too, so I got a 22lb spring and whala, it runs like a dream, when I saw your vid I was like new spring would help it think the underwoods velocities contribute to the need of a stiffer spring but what do I know. am i the only one who still thinks the 357magnum is still a good bear gun. Bill jordan killed a grizzly bear with one in the 1930s. this is when the 357mag first came out and they were trying to prove what it would do. i dont dispute the power of the 10mm but the 357mag is right there with it. i think its much better than the 45acp as far as ft/lbs of energy goes. sure the bullet diameter is small but so what. the energy is still there. this is just my opinion though and i havnt heard any one else mention it when talking about the 10mm

+dieing REPUBLIC honestly bud I wouldnt fuck with 10 mm, blows guns up, way too much recoil. For a bed side gun get a rifle or a shot gun, if yoh are intent on a handgun go with 9 or .45. They dont blow guns up and the ammo is cheaper.
@convex74569 жыл бұрын
Chris Farrar has 10mm every destroyed any glock20 29 or glock40s?????
@bruinranger139 жыл бұрын
+dieing REPUBLIC eventually yes, the life span of the gun is much much shorter than .45 or 9. .40 cal glocks have a much shorter service life than the 9mm, same goes for 10mm vs .45. For the average person you might not shoot it enough to kill it, but if you arent an avid shooter the 10mm recoils way too much, if you are an avid shooter you could see the gun die on you. The 9mm guns can go upwards of 80k rounds.

I would pick 10mm in the form of a G29/G20SF vs .45 in the form of a G30SF everytime if 10mm was a safe bet in terms of availability :/ I suppose if SHTF I could still shoot .40S&W out of the 10mm (albeit risky) or just throw in a .40S&W barrel but still. I wish a major major LE agency would use 10mm, would solidify the availability for the future.

Aaron David I plan on it! But its money and in NY State its a process to get a gun everytime now with these crazy new laws. Gonna go with a G30S first and then go for a G29 or likely a G20 with a bunch of different barrels for different calibers to avoid having to go through all the BS of buying more and more guns.
@aarondavid714910 жыл бұрын
nateo200 In your state with those SHITTY laws I think you are absolutely on the right track, but in most circumstances outside of THE BUSH the 45 is a great man stopper and will be available. Do you have to register in the state? I mean for every single gun you own, even those grandfathered in? I'm not trying to piss you off I just want to talk to someone "in" on the hopefully not new norm of firearm ownership. I'm in ARK and I hope that never comes my way. It's important that this kind of info is shared because I'm on your side and It makes me proud to hear this from my brothers from the Blue states. Keep shooting and CARRY ON!

desert eagle - 13000 ft lb less bullets more power. glock 19 - 9000 ft lb more bullets slightly less power. and the above numbers are standard cartridges... not some buffalo whatever. the gimmick of saying the glock 21 has 10k stopping power... is a fail. 10mm is a mid range caliber -- nothing else. its smaller than a 50 cal.... bigger than a 9mm .. it is what it is -- nothing more. its not like its magic.

I got a 2nd gen G20, with a case of 20mm double tap ammo hollow points...LOVE it! Will be getting the sub compact very soon. Thanks for the rad video man!

I've had similar jamming issues with my G20. This may be off or wrong, but I've found it tied to three things: 1) Dirty magazines 2) Proper/strong grip while firing 3) Resting on stationary props. The G20 is, as you have reviewed, a phenomenal weapon, but it's not for everyone. For me, I will never get rid of mine though I may get a .40 barrel conversion to ease the pain of target practice on my wallet.
