Had a glock 20 All FDE Lipsey a few years ago was a great gun Picked up a Lone wolf 11lb spring if I recall and 6.25 9mm conversion barrel for practice extremely Accurate with factory and LW barrel traded it off wen Moved from MT because at that time Ammo was not real popular Plenty up in MT.though yes I kick myself for trading off.I haven’t seen another like it.Have an opportunity to pick one of these up on Armsl.Lol.Thought C was for Compact till I saw this vid was trying to find a vid showing how compact it was🧐think I may go for it wonder if it takes LW barrels as well more than likely? Like the versatility.Did put a couple vids out on that Lipsey model couple years ago.

Hi Tom! I wanted to touch base and tell you I bought the Glock model 20C 10mm this past Saturday in Clearwater and I am really thrilled. It cost about $50 more than the standard model 20 but I am sure it is worth it. Like you, I am a big 10mm fan. It is a wicked round. Good news out of CNN today: the Piers Morgan show has been cancelled! So I had a great weekend and even better Monday! Thanks for all your reviews you do. Take care.

With that and the porting, recoil is so manageable my 5ft3in 110 lb wife sais its her favorite gun to shoot! Hogue slip on grips with palm swells made all the diff for me. Listen to what I did! And I wonder why most Glock reviews never tell us this. I have a Glock 20SF I bought 2 years ago for about $570 or so. I learned about caliber conversions on KZbin so I went ahead and did it. I had earlier bought a Lone Wolf extended/ported 10mm barrel because the factory barrel is a little too short to achieve any level of accuracy and it also hurt my hand. The Lone Wolf is so much better. Most importantly, I just bought a Lone Wolf 357 Sig ext/ported barrel and a LW 40 cal barrel for a total of $250 with shipping. And they both use the SAME MAGAZINE as the 10mm!! Now I have 3 Glock pistols in 1 and it takes no more than 30 seconds to change barrels. For just $800 I have $1800 worth of Glocks and less weight to carrry around than 3 pistols. Although .357 Sig ammo is not cheap and nor is 10mm but at least I have an option. And the .40 cal is available everywhere and cheap too for the range. Jackson, Mississippi.

PS» With the Lone Wolf barrel, and Double Cap ammo, you can easily manage a consistent 1450 fps. Never had any issue with the 20, and I'm going on to 2000++ rounds. Don't forget, if you're going to use p+ ammo get the Lone Wolf kit...

Tom, once again great video. I am considering buying a 20c, as I have come accross a deal I can't walk away from. however I have read that the 20c will lack power compared to the 20, based on the ports in the barrel, which cause the bullet to not get the last inch of push out of the gun. Just wanted to know if you have clocked the bullets out of the 20c vs the 20 to see how much power is lost through the barrel ports. Your Videos are very old school in style, No fancy effects, not BS, just presentation, and commentary. Thanks for keeping them that way!

Have one, love it, love it, love it! 15 rounds of reach out and touch someone! You can shoot mild loads or full power with no changes. Try that with a single stack 1911. Twice the power of a .45 approaching 41 magnum performance. Simply unbeatable!
@NorthWolfe12 жыл бұрын
I own a 20, along with various other 10mm. The Glock is the best, IMO, but it really needs some modding, specially a Lone Wolf barrel for "heavier" 10mm ammo (Norma, Double Cap), to keep the ammo from "tumbling", and to greatly improve accuracy. Great gun, the 20...hate the 29 for personal reasons (can't seem to find a good grip with it [hands] ).
@tonydelacruz4511 жыл бұрын
They have a Glock 20 10mm Gen 4 now, but its kind of hard to come by. The Kimber is good, but if you want a 1911 in 10mm a Rock Island in 10mm is much more affordable.

Yes, it is more of a lube then a cleaner for me. It is a preservative to stop rust. I use it liberally on all my guns, even if they have not been shot in a year or 2...Use common sense on special finishes, etc.

@CD318 You're right, Scottsdale Ammo is awesome stuff, even the boxes they come in are superior quality, and all American made, boxes, bullets, casings, primer, everything American made. I've shot their 9 and 10mm and they're full loads, lots of power and clean. I love Buffalo Bore and DoubleTap as well...full hot loads. The Glock 20 using MagSafe ammo was rated no 1 stopping power in an Alpine goat test some years back over in Europe, No 1 out of many other guns and all types of ammo.

The velocity and energy lost is minimal to none that can only be noticed with technology. The 10mm is so powerful with so much velocity that the C model just tones down the recoil just a touch as a result of the primary function of the C model being that it allows u to keep the gun on target alot better when firing fast. Its more effective I think. For example say the regular G 20 fires a bullet 1400 fps with 650 ft-lbs of energy. The C model would be around 1360 fps, and 625 ft-lbs

Thinking of picking up a Lone Wolf or KKM conversion barrel and some 15-rnd 10MM mags for my 21 for a semi-auto 'bear gun'. I love that about Glock's, get one size up and you can always cheaply convert downward, and the mag compatability for the smaller Glock's!! Nice video. I have a question about this "C". Does this holes in the barrel reduce the velocity of the bullet? Does it reduce the power? It is made almost the center of the barrel, not at the edge of it, so a lot of gas goes out before the bullet leave the barrel. Could you please make a comparision video with two glock 20 and glock 20C, in order to ckeck the penetration and velocity?

Love my G20 but glad I didn't get the compensated version. I've shot .40's that were compensated at night and the muzzle flash is blinding. Now if I were only using it strictly for hunting or range, then sure.
@tactickleshtooper17537 жыл бұрын
It is true. Firearms with compensated barrels are not typically recommended by experts for defensive carry, the (2) two primary reasons being: 1) blinding muzzle flash in the dark, 2) if you have to fire without your arm fully extended (in a very close quarters fight) the blast from the compensated barrel could harm your eyes, the particles will burn.
@triptre36386 жыл бұрын
R Priest Compensators also reduce velocity from the barrel.... You want that solid barrel for full combustion on a pistol to get full velocity from your cartridge, not reduce its power. On a rifle like a shotgun, It’s not a major issue.

If you need a backup gun just get a .22 and you'll never leave home without it. I laugh when people tell me its a mouse gun. I watched a guy shot and killed 20 feet in front of me with a mouse gun .22 with 3 shoots to the chest. I love the glock 29 but when its 90 degrees outside and you leave the glock at home, you can still drop a .22 or .32 in your pocket. It beats a stick any day of the weeek. Thanks for the post.

I can help a bit here. I'm sure they have a Glock chambered in .45 at a local gun shop. Try one of those. The frames are exactly the same, size wise. I have sorta small hands and just didn't like the feel of the Glock on the .45, 10mm frame. It is not abnormally large just a little to big for me. There are a few companies that do grip reductions on Glocks, making the grip smaller and I'm considering getting a 20c and having the reduction done to one.

@BarryNewmanboenairgeez568 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure why you have that light on there. because the first time you fire that in the dark will be your last due to the flash that comes out of that compensated Barrel. Glock 20c was my first 10 millimeter and I kept it about 2 weeks because I needed it for defense. now I own the 20 SF and everything's fine the flash goes out the front and never bothers me.
@arthurserino22546 жыл бұрын
You're patently full of shit. The flash does not blind you unless you're firing in total darkness, and if you're firing at something you can't see, you're NOT one of the good guys.
@Fightosaurus5 жыл бұрын
@Barry Newman Even in total darkness, the pupil flash doesn't really amount to anything in terms of blinding the operator. Discharging your flashlight is putting way more lumens in your face for a longer time than that. I can fire my 20C in total darkness without concern, not that I would ever need or want to do that, which is why I run a TLR-1 on mine.
