The G35 is my EDC. With a 165/180gr 40 caliber launched out of a 5-in barrel has more energy in target than a 45acp and a 9mm, 40 does better against barriers such as windshield glass, and especially bone where it will hit it, break it, or go straight through. It does not have the mass of the 45acp but will definitely drag more tissue than a 9mm. It gives me 16rds of 40 caliber and the same size package as a 8 to 9 round 1911 giving me twice the capacity right out of the holster. The G35 is a good option if you carry a 45acp and live in an area where there is a big gang problem 🙂 and you like a caliber that begins with a 4 🙂

With the G23 being my first gun ever (20+ years ago), the .40 S&W has always been a fav of mine! Great review as always, do we ever need a reason for a new gun? Your up closes of the guns are always impressive. If you are like me, it must have been difficult to only put 100 rounds through it at first.

72cmcinc I held back because I knew I would be putting new sights on it, and a Talon grip. Need to save some serious range time and ammo for the "post makeover" work!! Sights are on - Talon came in today's mail. Won't be long.

Nice group! I have a 34. Why get one? Why not! I love that big, slow 180 grain .40. My Glock 22 is one of my most accurate guns. I could probably be convinced to trade all of my 9s for 40s. Pet your GSD for me and keep the vids coming.

I have a first gen 35 . I bought it new and it came with adjustable rear sight . It's been a long time since I bought mine and I have other Glocks so you guys correct me if I'm wrong but there was no mention of the barrel or trigger . It was my understanding that the barrel was more accurate and the the trigger pull was a pound less .
@GieszkanneАй бұрын
If you buy a 35 first you wont have to buy a 34. Just a conversion barrel and G17 Mags and a 34 recoil spring.

Get the glock 26 first! Then when time passes and you have more funds to get the Glock 35 buy it second.

@@STURDYSTANCE I’ve had a 26 gen 5 I got rid of it and I ended up regretting it I haven’t had the 35 but I have the 27 22 23 and they all shoot amazing I feel like with the longer slide and slide cut it will be a smoother shooter

Wow that ejection was awful. Any updates on this gun? Looked like it was throwing it on the left side sometimes, in your face, and barely dribbling out. How's the gun running?
@JustinOpinionChannel9 жыл бұрын
Jonathan Frost Glocks are notorious for odd ejection patterns, especially when new. As the springs wear in, it gets better. I've learned to shoot while brass bounces off my face - so I don't really make an issue of it. I've been shooting this gun in some matches - after doing considerable trigger work on it and adding new sights - and it is awesome. Love shooting it.

I am considering a G34 or G35. I want one for competition. I carry and shoot a G27 and G23. Can you talk about the difference in recoil management between the G34 and G35? Also for competition using the G35, what powerfactor will you load for?
@JustinOpinionChannel7 жыл бұрын
Since you carry .40 you should really consider the G35 for the sake of practical training. Also a benefit that your carry gun can be a backup at the match if the primary goes down. I load .40 for IDPA power factor on the light side. The 180 grain bullet means you can get the numbers you need with a pretty soft load that reliably cycles the gun. It's actually my favorite to shoot in matches.
@gregpruitt16477 жыл бұрын
Humm... I had not considered making the G23 a possible backup for matches. Great idea! The practical shooting aspect is on point as well. I've been looking at a few used G35s, and I've seen some at really good prices. Budget is a large factor for me.

I understand that all that matters is that you get the cases out of the chamber but that glock seems to really be struggling at throwing that brass. Seems to be ejecting the cases straight back at you.
@JustinOpinionChannel10 жыл бұрын
TurboB18C1DC2 I experience that a lot with new Glocks for the first few hundred rounds, and then it goes away. I will also qualify that for much of this shooting I was using my own hand loads, which are not as hot as most factory loads.
@This-isHowie_Dewitt9 жыл бұрын
Ejection seems poor and straight back into your face. Typical Glock Gen4 issue.
