I love videos that are detailed and straight to the point. 2 weeks later and 1 broken trigger connector later (messing with stuff that didnt need to be messed with ) I fixed my issue. Only with trigger depressed the trigger would not reset after cycling. Turns out the trigger bar was rubbing on the rear of the frame when held. Filed a small amount of the pointed tip (not the radius) and now feels right and resets every time. Feels good to figire it out ;)

I appreciate the clarification on that, I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't reset but I followed your instructions and now it resets all the time. Massive help thanks

Sand the inside of the trigger guard, or bend the tab on the trigger bar, inside the trigger block housing that catches on the striker, bend it up a bit so more area connects with the striker and catches. (What you did in video) Also make sure the tab on the right side of the trigger housing that rides against the metal rail insert, sand the area of the inside of the metal rail inset that runs against the right of the trigger housing

Ok will do. I also notice that the screws go through the rear rails and will bind up the trigger housing because they are too long. So I'm still trying to figure out if I should grind them down or find another way like using washers. Any ideas on that?
@joshwizardguy76623 жыл бұрын
@@juniorlargie There's a new frame set you can download that doesn't use screw-in rails. The rails are cut with a dremel and bent into shape. They drop in and use a single retaining pin located at the upper half of the grip next to where the thumb groove is.

Those are some clean prints , what is that? Petg? You like those old style rails? Does that relieve and cracking that may occur near the trigger shoe / rear rail pin ?
@juniorlargie2 жыл бұрын
PLA + and i dont mind either style but i think this might break eventually if abused long enough right by where there screws keep the rails into the frame.
@freshcharge2 жыл бұрын
I see some builds with screws in the rear rail like yours. I got Aves rails and there is no screw holes. Is the screw design better? Are you using factory Glock LPK? I had all kinds of linkage problems with an off brand set.

I believe the pin design is better. And regular stock lower parts kits

@Rubberweasel2 жыл бұрын
There's usually 2 issues that keep the Glock trigger from resetting. 1 is the connecter being too tight in between the sear pack and the rail assembly/frame not allowing it to move free of the sear. 2 which is what you seem to be running into where the sear doesn't make reliable contact with the striker assembly. For 1 you have to find what is holding the connector moving and make sure the trigger bar isn't binding on the slide. For 2 it's most likely an out of spec dimension issue with the rails and you can usually bend the sear but sometimes they're very brittle and break rather than bend.
@juniorlargie2 жыл бұрын
I've had it binding before when i tighten down the screws too much for the rails. So everything else moves smoothly. But it's all an experiment so I just enjoy the process of getting it to work.

Hey bro have you shot it and noticed this causing any malfunctions? I came to the same conclusion with mine but I'm nervous it will cause other malfunctions lol
@juniorlargie2 жыл бұрын
After that mine ran smoothly so i have no issues anymore. Just remember it's not a Polymer 80 or a Glock so the tolerances aren't as tight.
@Evan-rv7zr2 жыл бұрын
That's true, mines a palmetto lower with a non palmetto slide so... probably as tight a tolerance as a 3d printed one lol.
@juniorlargie2 жыл бұрын
Well i think those are a little different with how they were built. So you might wanna try a palmetto slide before you do anything else
