The 26 has quickly become my favorite model to carry. Especially appendix. The difference between a 17 or 19 is considerable. I recently picked up a Gen 4 26 and I'll never get rid of it. Extremely accurate and it's just a great concealable gun you can always rely on.

Great video, you did an outstanding job showing the differences between a Glock 43, 19 & 17 model 9mm. You answered all the questions that someone would have on those Glock pistols. I carry the model 43 most of the time with a spare 8 round extended mag, but now I will consider switching to the 26 for more capacity options~ thank you.

G26 for me is the perfect CCW. Ive tried a lot but nothing fits and works better for me 👍

I’m with you. My first was the G42 and the main reason is when you down size the weight of the gun, metal mass, makes a difference in repeatability in follow ups. 9mm shot itself, not recoil, was far too large in the G43. I purchased the G26 Gen4 and has become my Go To EDC. Over time I realized a 3-finger grip is over blown esp. with the Glock grip angle (21 deg) and grip swell of the G26 as the grip pressure in my palm was perfect. Glock is truly a point-finger and shoot platform as the grip angle positions your wrist perfectly for a lockup to the forearm control. I later purchased a G19 Gen4 and I continue with a two finger grip as I found my little finger caused me the shoot a little to the left as a RT hand shooter. Again, the grip angle was the key with the Glocks, as I would point at a target with my point-finger, that is how the Glock sits and sights in my grip. Rapid acquisition is natural and the recoil is straight-back and not over the top, as with an 18 deg angle on the grip (need for 3 finger grip). So, G26 is my EDC, but when a down size is needed it’s my G42 (Gen 5). My G19 is my Home defense. As I have long fingers, I put the middle back straps on with beaver tail on both of my G26 & G19 to give me the Gen3 girth in the grip and beaver tail keeps me off a too high of a grip and on the draw, they fit like a glove off-hand, Love the finger grooves. Installed 3lb connectors in both, NO CREEP, and the lighter Striker-block and spring. In my G42 installed the 3.5lb connector, which is a Gen 5 trigger. Installed the TFX-PRO sights on all, love the “U” shape rear sight. Just to say that you can make your GLOCK your platform, without a Gunsmith. Good video, and those are my thoughts.

G 26 with G17 backup mag has been my edc way over a decade. I own a 42,43, and 19... the 26 is the best of all worlds. Its actually smaller than the 43 and the 42 is just prone to being a little iffy. Never, ever have a had a problem with my 26.

The G26 it’s one of my favorite EDC! Top it off with XS Big Dots and your good. Better recoil control than the 43X or P365. Those kick more. In my opinion to small is not always good. If I have to carry such a small frame gun like the 43X or the P365 I would step it down to a .380. Or carry a small beefier 9mm like my G26 or my walther PPSM2.

Good solid review on that EDC carry. I use a g43 myself with a + 2 TTI mag. I also change the sights, as I saw you did. HD Trijicon. Why do people like to change the Trigger action. I left mine stock. Like you, I probably put three to four thousand rounds through it, and I've been carrying it for about 3 or 4 years now. Thanks again for a great review.

Glock 26 is my eternal favorite EDC. And I carry a G17 backup mag, quite a formidable load. You see, when considering how much more convenient it is than the 19 not only do we take into account length and height but overall weight. With the slide being about a half inch longer as well as the grip its much more comfortable carrying the 26. Take into account that weight plus the weight of 5 more rounds also means it's a good bit lighter, further adding to the comfort factor. For me it's the perfect carry, not too small, not too big. And 11 rounds out the gate gives you plenty of firepower.

can use an XGRIP slip on for a G19 mag and makes the G26 feel like a G19 with a shorter slide (G26 slide).

Did you ever get a Gen5? I sold mine. I'm going back to my Gen4. I even shoot both left and right handed (I carry the G26 left-handed), because I miss the finger grooves and I do not like the new slide stops that protrude. I thought I would, that's why I changed, but the get in the way of my thumbs.

Glocks do run nice and shoot great, can’t argue with that. Just to darn small. Not a fan of the hellcat or P365 either. But the P320sc works great in appendix for me.

haha no matter the size of the handle I shoot with my pinky off... when I put my pinky on the gun and run it hard all I see are the rear sites and the front ones are going down when I take my pinky off the grip I can run the gun fast and still see my front sight and rear sights and get accurate shots lol I don't use my pinky for much anyway I think that's the least important finger on your hand....

I've own my G26 for a few years now and decided to finally purchase a G19. To be honest, the G19 has no real "purpose" for me, I would have been better off buying G17 instead. I have more fun shooting my G26 and G34 than I do the G19.

How do you like the G26 compared to the G43X and G48?
@GunsStuff
@GunsStuff 3 жыл бұрын
The fact that the G26 can take any Glock double stack 9mm magazine will always be a huge bonus. The G26 is shorter (in the grip) than the 43X and 48, BUT it is thicker than those pistols. I have been carrying a g43x with the S15 magazines since May. The 43x and 48 paired with the s15 magazines totally makes it not even an argument. The issue is those magazines are pricey and very hard to get.

I’ve found these little guns feed everything. When the slide is all the way back the barrel is raised at an angle that presents the next round towards the top part of the feed ramp. My 26’s have never had a malfunction of any kind. I can’t say that about my other Glocks.
