Ben Beckmann (should be on the level of Admirals like Kizaru, Fuji, and Greenbull based on databooks) 6. Shyruu(over Zoro for plot reasons) 7. Zoro 8. King or Marco (interchangeable. I don't know if Marco has the AP to take down King, but Marco can also neutralize King's fire) 9. Katakuri(I don't subscribe to the dumb Ulti>Kat argument because I think it lacks context everywhere, but I agree with the argument you made) 10. Killer (I have him below Kat. The Ace novels stated something along the lines of "It could be said Whitebeard is the Strongest Pirate due to the great [pirate] life he has had" I think ace's crewmate was the one who said it. he also then followed that statement with kaido being the strongest creature in the world. Kaido Vivre card also suggests the same. So for me imo Pre TS Old WB is definitely not the strongest in the world. especially when you consider the fact that the dude is having heart attacks mid battle against akainu. For me Mihawk is the strongest RH/VC. superior to rayleigh solely because hes emphasised as the WSS again and again. also the black blade. the only other person to have a black blade is ryuma who in his time was the worlds strongest "man". It is true that the grade of mihawks blade is greater than ryuma's but this just indicates one has a greater weapon than the other. If ryuma's overall swordsmanship and haki utilisation is greater than ryuma takes the cake. For me, the most notable fact is that ryuma in his time was called the worlds strongest man. Mihawk however but I will say this Both opinions of one being greater than the other are respectable and have good evidence. A strange view would be that ryuma isnt even a consideration for top swordsman.

Killer isn’t touching Katakuri with future sight, and I guarantee Katakuri has gotten stronger since his fight with Luffy. I wouldnt be surprised if Katakuri’s bounty shoots up to over 2 billion considering he’s the new captain of the big mom pirates.

Honestly i don't really like Rayleigh and Shiryu scalling since we barely have anything on them. Shiryu's the second strongest of the BB pirate yet gets nearly flored by a hakiless punch from Garp, Rayleigh implies that in his prime he's above Teach and Borsalino yet not only does Kizaru blatantly press Luffy *as a yonko* but Rayleigh's also implied to be on Scabban's level who's ≈Oden who's best scalling is to a younger Kaido who's way weaker than one on Onigashima who characters such as Law and Zoro blatantly have scalling to (not even mentioning King blatantly having better durability than this same Kaido). Sooo imo they're too much of a mess to scale

According to this video --> whitebeard = roger (none of the had a blackblade, both had a blade) and whitebeard > mihawk > shanks. So your telling ablack blade (supposed haki feat) doesnt prove mihawk to be stronger swordsman than roger, who is equal to whitebear? Why is roger a better swordsman than Mihawk if he didnt have a black blade? Why does the black blade argument only work against shanks lil blud?

We dont know how black blades are forged nor have I ever used them as an argument to put Mihawk over Shanks. It’s just that people downplay Mihawks Haki, yet he is one of the only characters to have this very specific Haki based technique. It could or could not have anything to do with power we dont know
