Glory rules: You're allowed to clinch if you're going for knees. Glory referees the second a clinch happens: BREAK! BREAK! BREEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAK!!!!!!!!!!

It's a little more in depth than that. Once the clinch is initiated, knees must begin immediately. And even if it's a flurry of knee strikes, the ref is supposed to break the clinch after 5 seconds to keep the action moving. So if they don't knee immediately, or they stop kneeing to posture or change position, or they clinch and knee for more than 5 seconds, the ref is supposed to call for break.

The referee is supposed to be breaking the fighters up by stepping in. The Thai fighter hesitates to break because those are the rules and you're at risk to being KOd if you break yourself

can't argue with the winner. Chommanee got a hundred warnings about the clinching, which if course isn't allowed in kickboxing. But the fact that chomanee (and other Thai's) can be so overwhelmingly dominant yet still lose. Kinda makes a mockery of the rules in kick boxing. I think they should either have zero clinching or much more relaxed acceptance of clinching. This in between rule of clinch for immediate knees for 5 seconds is just too awkward. and creates situations like this fight where a fighter repeatedly clinches and gets warned. Which slows down the flow of the fight.
