Funny story; My mom stayed the night and was bragging about her expensive skincare after she had just washed her face. I told her I bet her skin isn’t really clean and had her swipe her face with a cotton pad and Micellar Water. She couldn’t believe how much makeup her expensive products left behind and she’s now a believer in over the counter skin products.

Thanks for your video. I won’t use products that are not cruelty free no matter how cost effective or good a product they are. In terms of Posey or Cerave there are alternatives. Just mentioning it because in this day and age there just isn’t any reason to support products that participate in animal Testing or use ingredients that are not cruelty free.

I have been trying Paul’s choice exfoliate and retinol product. I have chaffed skin around my mouth as a result. Is it normal ?

Hi Grace. Retinol can do that. Perhaps stop using it until the skin heals. And then start the product again very slowly. Like one night a week for week #1. Two nights a week for week #2. And three nights a week for week #3. Then stick to the three nights a week plan for several weeks. If it doesn't happen again, then stick with three nights a week and determine, over time, if your skin actually looks better from using the product. But if it does happen again, your skin might not "like" retinol products, just as mine doesn't. My skincare regimen doesn't include any retinols because my skin does what yours has done (my face skin, anyway).

I tried the City Beauty night lip oil. No noticeable difference for me but, another tip. I purchased a really small spatula from Temu and I used that to get the product in the bottle that the applicator could not reach any longer. I have gotten another three weeks of product out. Every last drop is now gone!
