Love this set and what you've done with it - your story reminded me of when I was about 9 and my older brother woke me up and said I was late for school - I got dressed in a rush ran downstairs and mum said what are you doing up this late - it was still night time and he had just played a trick on me. Fond memories as I don't have either my mum or brother with us now.

Oh dear Kelly, Now I have to say that this is my favorite card. It's so stinkin cute, I watched it 2 times! I just had to put it back at the start and studied how you did your shading which is very professional! And your blending is stunning, you make it look so easy. I love that music of the Sugar Plum Fairies it's so up lifting and soothing : )... Don't you hate it when you wake up like that and it's night time and not morning, I have done that a couple of times. I love story time also, 1 more vote for story time, it's so fun, relaxing and laughing so hard I either get a side ache from laughing so hard or pee my pants LOL so thank You very much!!!!! Oh not for making me pee my pants but for everything you do for me and all the other friends and family!

Love your card and story! My dad did something similar. He woke up around 8pm. It was dark outside. He then drove to his Doctor's for a 9am appointment. Of course no one was there! He finally left and went to Dennys for breakfast. He didn't realize that it was night time till he called my sister! Lol

Memory lane time🤣! I did day/ night rotation for a year and pretty much stayed disoriented. It was SO much better when I switched to permanent nights. I saw what was coming before you said it because I have done the same thing!

This card is so adorable! I like the change in the wall color and in the purple mug. It really added more life. Sorry that your experiencing the lack of sleep time of your life. Love the effect of the glow in the dark snowflakes! Personally, I liked the Antique Linen wall color. The outside of our house is painted a similar color. Well, sort of, since Mama & I haven't yet completely finished repainting. Something we've only been doing for 2 or 3 years now. :P Thankfully, the new color is pretty much the same as the old color, so the un-repainted parts don't show that badly. Anyway, love your card & your funny stories. Tfs! :)

Very festive card, Kelly! Love your stories...I had a similar incident with taking a nap after work. I woke up thinking I was late for work but went a step further than you and actually called my job in a panic, apologizing frantically for being late and stating I'dbe right there. Only then recognizing the voice of the person who had answered the phone, as our resident practical joker.And that she was the person who had replaced me when I had left work. Took me months to get the egg wiped off my face on that one!!!!

This reminded me of a story.... When my daughter (now 25) was 2, she loved having her nails painted. I found some glow-in-the-dark nail polish at the drugstore. Knowing I was about to win the Cool Mom of the Year award, I painted her nails with it, and then turned out the lights so she could see her nails glow. She took one look and started screaming in terror. Needless to say, the awards committee bypassed me that year.

I only ask because I remember when I was 2 and we went to Yellowstone Park and there was a big earthquake. I asked my dad if he would buy me a mama bear and her twin cubs, the only thing I didn't like was they all was hooked together with chains. I remember riding home holding those cute little bears and I'm 61 now. Thank You Wendy for sharing that, it brought back some beautiful memories of my Mother and Father that is longer with me.

Love your story!!! Totally can relate. I have a 12 yr old, 5 yr old and 3 month old. We have stink bugs occasionally and my 5yr old has nightmares about them :(. I actually fell asleep yesterday with the baby in the afternoon and woke up at 7pm freaking out that my older daughter missed the bus and I had to drive her to school and get the little ones ready and myself.

The card is lovely, but the title is glow in the dark which you barely even mention it let alone how you did it.

Sorry you're disappointed! It wasn't worth it because the footage was just basically the back of my head. I did the glow in the dark embossing powder the same way I did the others you saw. I used my embossing buddy bag, stamped directly over the snowflakes I previously heat embossed, and then added the glow in the dark embossing powder. Knock off the extra and then set it with my heat gun until it melts. If you start listening at the 5:30 mark you'll hear me explain it even though you didn't get to see it.
