Ashley this was seriously an answer to a prayer. I've been struggling to find balance with several areas of my life and was praying for guidance. Seeing how you prioritize your day was inspirational! I love that you have time set aside each day to put God first. I love what you said about even if you don't feel like you have time, when you make time God blesses you. Thanks for being an instrument in His hands!

Just know that I'm not perfect either Sharly. From a top down look you could accuse me of spending too much time thinking about fitness and doing exercise compared to my actual TIME reading my Bible, and that'd be accurate sin of idolatry in my life. Just know that I don't have it altogether, don't pretend to, and that God continues to prune me as much as the next believer. I'm rooting for you to find tweaks in your daily routines that work for you and your family.

@@glowbodypt I think you also recognize that your body and your life are one of the greatest gifts God has given you. The time you focus on your fitness helps you show that appreciation to God for the wonderful gift. So thankful we are all able to grow and improve! Love knowing I can continue to be pruned and become better! Keep inspiring women all over the world!

This was convicting for me, Ashley, thank you for sharing your day. Our third child is only about 4 months and it’s a struggle getting through a day! You’ve reminded me that life isn’t about me and putting my needs first. God has given me these little ones to nurture and disciple and that’s my priority. Thanks for reminding me that I need to be spending time with the Lord everyday, even just a little, because He is my strength.

Hannah congrats to you on your 4 month old and being a mother to 3 littles now! I understand how full your days are, how 4 month olds can be incredibly needy and attached to mama, how you're trying to figure out a 3 x per day nap schedule, but you also have 2 other kids to take care of and errands to run. I'm rooting for. Spending time in the word and in prayer with God and with fellow believers is Biblical and the only way we can expect His presence, to hear His direction, to feel His calm in our lives.

Thank you for sharing Ashley, and for being unashamed to talk about the Lord! Always encouraged to hear how you are intentional with your time and family. It spurs me on and inspires me to start the day with clear purpose and intentionality. For anyone else reading, just want to vouch for how legit Ashley’s plans are!! I completed the 12 week PP Plan and am 1 week from finishing the 10 minute Plan. I can honestly say I am in the best shape I’ve ever been in, and I’m a 30 yo mom of 4 kids. 17 lbs lost and stronger than ever.

My favorite parts are the reminders to slow down and stay in the present- that is my biggest struggle as a mom and, when I remind myself what a gift I have, I’m able to bring it back in. Ashley’s talk at the beginning was a great, focused reminder - we are here for a beautiful, glorious purpose- let’s remember that is why we do what we do! Also, ditto on working out during that sweet morning nap 😀

I follow a similar schedule and also began homeschooling this year. It's so helpful to see what others are doing and learning to make corrections and modifications as needed. I'm also a SAHM of four, running a business for FertilityAwareness (currently working up programs for single women, those experiencing reproductive disorders, and those experiencing infertility), homeschooling, and always striving to make more time with Him and share that love with my children. Thank you for being a leader by example and following His will for you.

Thank you so much for sharing this! I have been in such a dark place where my mind and heart have been as a mother and as a Biblical woman. I feel like I just can't climb myself out of the daily routine that doesn't show, share, worship, or thank God for everything he has blessed me with. I desperately want to, but I felt like I was just stumbling blinding. I kept praying for God to help me change, to guide me out. Your video intro was (verbatim) what I needed to hear and your routine basics are exactly the guide I needed to help me get where I want to go. Thank you, so, so, so very much! I loved hearing the catechism you were reviewing with Ava, too. We've introduced those recently and it's amazing how much the kids learn in such a short time.

It sounds like God used my words to literally speak to you personally Jessica. Know that what you just shared is part of your testimony. That today we have *no idea* what woman needs to read this and who you may share it with outloud in person (and I hope you do!) because you never know if the lady next to you on the bench at the playground needs to hear how you felt like you were in such a dark place and a hole you couldn't climb yourself out of, that she may relate, and God can use your story to bring himself glory.

Such a great reminder!! I have been feeling soo overwhelmed with taking on homeschooling this year. Schedules and routines always work for me, and as long as hubby can get on board (he does not like schedules at all & works from home!) In the meantime, the encouragement to keep going and to keep my eyes fixed on Him was a push I didn’t know I needed 😊

My motto since adolescence has always been "If I make the Lord my priority, I will become His priority". I have seen how true that is my life. Things always fall into place when I put Him first. And I think that part of it is doing the best job that we can to honor and care for the bodies and the children that the Creator has given us. Thank you for always reminding me that being a disciple of Christ is never something passive. It is something I always need to strive for and never become complacent about. And because I am His daughter, I can expect myself to accomplish great things with Him. Thank you Ashley for all you do! I really can't express how grateful I am for your channel and for all the hard work you put in being a great mom and helping inspire other moms! You are always the first person/channel I recommend every time I find out one of my friends is expecting or recently had a baby! Your workouts have been real answers to prayers, I hope you know that. Thank you, thank you, thank you! ❤

It’s Gloria. 😁 I bought your 10 minute plan a couple years ago. Question: when do you fit in cleaning, laundry, all the not fun but necessary stuff? What gets dropped from this ideal day? Or is that when you do house projects (like you show in the garage or staining columns) but sometimes fit in the necessary daily laundry and cleaning.
@glowbodypt
@glowbodypt 2 жыл бұрын
@@ghohens1897 Hi Gloria! : ) I actually did laundry this day and filmed it briefly. I cleaned my sheets, duvet, and duvet cover which took all day plus a load of laundry (folded at night as shown). : ) I usually start a load in the morning and finish folding in the afternoon when kids come home from school, before I make dinner. Typically do one load a day or every other day, so it never gets overwhelming. My kids put away their own clothes. This vid may help too: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5e7d5R4jt9noq8

What a blessing this video was ! I love that you have your kids do chores together. I have a list of chores individually for my children. But I think my little one would do better at staying on task if I team her up with her big brother. God is so good and you are right when we give him time he provides an abundance back to us!

Bonni, I hope that helps with yours, too! Teaming up usually goes well when they both have an assigned ROLE but if it's something like "clean up your toys" and one child is tired it will turn into bickering...so I have to be thoughtful about when I pair 'em up...I know you already know exactly what I mean!

Thank you for sharing, Ashley! I 100% agree that God's word must be priority for us and our children. It will not return void, and as we pour it into our hearts and the hearts of our children, it will serve as a steady anchor in the tossing, changing tides of culture. We are here for such a time as this, and we cannot back down from the truth or fear the world system. We have a living God who has given us the more sure Word of truth, and we need not be afraid for our household! Love you so much, sister, and I so appreciate the advice you shared and the glimpse into the life of another mama. We homeschool so things look a little different, but I still found inspiration in how you make time for your children in the midst of the duties. This is a balance that is so important! God bless you! Thankful for you! p.s. Ashley's workouts are the ONLY way I can stay fit and strong in this season of mothering 4 young children, ages 2-7. I'm so grateful for them!

Callie, I'm so glad this video spoke to you and God's working in you and how you serve your family. My kids watch TV sometimes too and we do pizza and movie every friday night as a family, it's great and I don't feel guilty! We all have different consciences on how much is too much / what's appropriate. Laptops/phones/TVs/tablets are distracting, period. I don't let my kids watch that much, they don't own phones or tablets or ipads, and I have a rule they have to have their room clean before they can even ASK ME to watch tv. One time my boys went a month without watching TV because they didn't want to clean their room. We know TV atrophy's the brain (physical visible evidence via brain scans), even educational shows, and lends to attention problems, so that's why I limit it to a reasonable amount for all of us. : )

First, a question: what book were you using to ask Ava Bible questions? Second, thank you so much for sharing this! I homeschool and work from home part time and it seems like every second of my day is spoken for and I often feel bad that my kids have too much screen time or I drop the ball many days in general, but it’s nice to see what the ideal day would look like if I could do better. So much room for growth, but always putting the Lord first and speaking truth and the love of Christ to my children above all else is most important. Being grateful for all the Lord has blessed me with has also changed my attitude and how I approach my days. I know I fail and struggle, but I also see how God is slowly growing me as a wife, mother and child of the King. Sanctification is such a beautiful blessing, but sometimes so messy and difficult.

Cherith- it is so wonderful to meet you as a sister in Christ. Props to you for homeschooling and working part time from home, girl I know it's a lot on your plate! Made a rule for my kids about 4 yrs ago that has stuck: they aren't even allowed to ask me to watch TV unless they have cleaned their room. Not sure if any type of requirement would help you and your family for any type of 'screen time' but I wanted to share that this was one of the best things I implemented and reminds them that it's an earned privilege, not a right they get anytime. We don't own tablets. My kids also really believe me about how its bad for the brain-- you can pull up IMAGERY for your older kids on what screens do to brain atrophy and that visual may stick with them for greater intrinsic motivation. Regardless- know that I am not perfect either, some TV is just fine! and ultimately it's about the position of our hearts and what we each feel convicted and that will look different for each mom (even Christian moms!) and that's Ok. It's not by any extent a salvation issue. I'm rooting for God to move bigger than ever for you in your own home Cherith.

Ashley, Oh my gosh! I am a home school mama expecting baby number #6 (#4 biologically) and I am exhausted. I was once an athlete and I have followed you for a few years now. I have done your prenatal workout and some of your postpartum plan (I can’t seem to find balance to complete it 😂). The part at the end of this video really spoke to me. It has been a hard year, I lost my grandmother and then less than two weeks later, my Dad very unexpectedly. I have felt like I can’t get everything done and, unfortunately, I have been putting God after so many other things. I know you’re right, if I give Him the time first, He will bless me and help me with the rest. Thank you for making this video 😊 God bless you and your precious family!

I'm 35 weeks pregnant with my first and have been following your prenatal plan since the beginning of the second trimester and I really feel that your workouts IMMENSLY improved my wellbeing, mentally and physically and overall made my pregnancy experience so much more positive by not only improving my mood and energy levels, but also by strengthening me in all the right ways to help me carry the weight of my belly. I'm not experiencing many of the aches and discomforts of late third trimester and I genuinly believe it is thanks to you and your workouts. I'm absolutley planning on getting on your 12 week post pregnancy plan and asked my partner to get it as my birth gift! I really have come to trust that you geuinly care about the quality of the content you put out there, that it works and most importantly that it is safe because I truly believe you care about your audience. Aside from that I also really have to say that despite of not being a person of faith myself, I find great value in your philosophies. For me they translate into practices of mental wellbeing for myself and my family. I admire your ability to incorporate your kids into being active participants of the home, I love the idea of raising them to be independant and self sufficient, starting with helping out with small chores, learning responsibility and self care. Overall, this comment (which is probably too long, im sorry!) is to say thank you and I really admire you. I'm sure you and I differ in many things but I personally believe I can learn and grow especially by listening and respecting those who think differently from me. So thank you and I hope you have an amazing day!

Corrina, it's Ashley. Thank YOU for being here and props to you already considering how you'll raise your babies to be helpful and productive members of the team that is your family in your home. I want you to watch this vid kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5e7d5R4jt9noq8 For Ava (3) I often ask her "Will Stacey get the wipes for baby Laurel please??" (Stacey is her doll...Ava loves to be in charge of her dolls and make pretend that she's telling them what to do.) Simple trick that works like a charm. My kids get paid for some chores (so they can save and earn money and learn how to handle it) and others are just responsibilities (no money). Boys will grow into men who NEED to provide for their family and I build them up in that vocally. I tell them they WILL BE the leaders of their households, they need to be protectors now of their sisters and for their future wives, they will always protect and defend and provide for their family. Right now, it's just part of being a family and team-- we all have responsabilities because we don't want to live in a dirty home that attracts rats or bugs. My kids also aren't allowed to ask me to watch TV unless their rooms are clean-- I make it a pre requisite. I hope this helps!

I am trying to teach my 2 year old how to be okay with mom working out while she’s up. She doesn’t like it and often times it’s difficult bc they are so busy at that age! My 2 year old is so busy that I can’t read or hardly talk on the phone. I usually have to wait until we are driving somewhere and she’s strapped into the car seat to listen to a sermon / read / make a phone call. Are both girls taking a nap or nap and quiet time while you’re working on your business?

Congrats to you HV (tell me your name!) on expecting your second baby girl. : ) Being able to sit and listen takes consistency, so keep trying! Make it "carpet time" with a special spot she gets and a special stuffy she gets to hold while you teach her. Keep lessons short and sweet and use props or draw on a white board to keep her attention. You are also teaching her how to have an attention span...the meat of it will come and she may absorb more than you think at first. Be redundant and always point back to Jesus. I work while both are napping or if Ava doesn't sleep she does 1 hour of quiet time! She has a clock that turns yellow when she can come out- she's allowed to look at books and color and do her MeReaders during quiet time if she chooses not to sleep.

You are amazing! What a beautiful analogy with the drip hose… great way to think of it. I am a FTM to a 9 month old baby girl, and I must admit it has been a STRUGGLE. I was very active pre baby and I purchased your 12 week plan while pregnant. However, I’ve been dealing with PPD/PPA and it is severely slowed down my life and sucked my motivation. I, too, am a Christian mom, with a husband in the army. But I lack so much motivation and energy. I look up to you in this way because I want to be able to provide this kind of life for my child, but right now it just feels like a crushing weight and I just feel like I’m barely getting by, doing only necessary chores and being lazy most of the time, which is completely unlike me… God is good and I know this season will pass… but do you have any advice or words of encouragement for me to get back to being the ME I know GOD created me to be??? Similar to you, I just want my child to grow up knowing the Love of Christ and I do not want to set an example that it is normal to be sad/lazy. This is NOT WHO I AM.

@glowbodypt
@glowbodypt 2 жыл бұрын
Tony, thank you for being here! I wouldn't even say you should be outspoken because that carries a negative connotation. Instead, you should be unashamedly speaking truth. Don't let the world tell you what you should/should not say. To show real love, you need to speak the truth and to not fear man, but to only fear the wrath of God and when you are OBEDIENT to Him, you are glorifying Him. My kids can't even ask me to watch TV unless they cleaned their rooms. My boys one time went a month of no TV because they didn't want to clean their room. : ) They watch TV about 4 days per week and Luke/I need to know what they are watching - we do family movie night every friday with pizza! They do a computer game like pbs kids or funbrain maybe 3 days per week. One TV in our home. 1 laptop the kids share. No tablets, no phones for them.
