GLOWY MAKEUP LOOK FOR MATURE SKIN | TUTORIAL | ALI ANDREEA

Hi everyone,
This is by far THE MOST requested look ever ! How to do makeup on someone on 50+. And I’m so happy Kasia accepted to be in this video, it takes courage to be seen in front of so many people so I am so incredibly thankful for having her in this video.
I’d say the way I do makeup on herself is not drastically different than what I do on someone who’s requesting a very natural makeup look. The difference is that I use less quantity of everything. Less foundation, less powder, less concealer etc. Kasia has a super minimalistic style of makeup and I didn’t want to scare her by doing something with too much color or something that would change her face a lot. One of the worst things I could receive is “ I don’t look like me anymore” I want women to still find themselves , but just better after I apply makeup.

I wanted to thank everyone for how sweet and respectful you always are in here! But I also wanted to tell you a bit more about how I met Kasia and how I realized she's perfect for a video in here. I did a makeup course with Kasia's good friend Monic ( whom I hope I can have in a video as well) and Monic recommended me to Kasia. Then I did a makeup course with Kasia but I never actually thought she's 57 ( at that time) because I didn't dare to ask ! Then we exchanged IGs and I saw her kids and realized they're just a bit younger than me ! That's when I proposed her to come here and never in a million years thought she'd accept it because she is a very busy woman and she travels a lot. It took us about four months to find a date when we were both in Paris and that was November 7th. I'm so happy that we finally did this video together! Dear Andreaa, this is a beautiful make up and a beautiful lady! BUT, and this is my critism, she is a little bit too perfect as to the problems women over 50 do have. Our problems are (not all mine :D) discoloration, sagging jowls, reduced lip volume, hollowed eyes, droopy eye lids and dark circles around the eyes. And we are quite irritated how to handle or cover these signs of aging when doing our make up. It is not always about the wrinkles but we lose the tightening of the skin which makes make up difficult. Unfortunately, this lady seems to have fillers and she hasn't got one of the problem items I described above. Her skin is a beautiful canvas for a beautiful make up but I do not think that her status is very representative for us eldery women. :(

But I think that the majority of woman over 50 simply have other and more issues necessary to talk about in a make up tutorial for mature skin. Hopefully, this is seen as objective criticm and just for Andreea to know that her audience 40 or 50 plus needs something different.

It's so nice to see makeup for a mature face for a change. I'm 50 years old and my face has changed drastically in the past 5 to 10 years and I feel I don't know how to do my makeup anymore. I LOVED this video. I feel this is one I may watch many times. As a mature woman of 57, I found this very helpful and I have been inspired to try and replicate what you have done here. While I could only dream of looking as beautiful as Kasia, I believe the intention of your video was to show us how to look like better versions of ourselves, and truly believe you have helped me do that. If I did not already have the same or similar products I have since sought them out and have applied these using the tecniques you show (to the best of my ability). Many videos aimed at makeup for mature women are complex and use many, many products, which is unachievable unless you are either a makeup artist or have many hours to achieve. Your video is easy to follow and you use a reasonable amount of products. Oh, my goodness. She looks stunning, about 30 years old! I hope someday you do a video for someone in the late 60s. My skin stayed pretty great until about 65. There’s baggy under eyes now, even a bag on inner upper lids and the neck is crepey. Those are my new challenges. I do pretty well well with camouflage but it seems like so much work. I’m definitely going to try this look though. Her coloring and features are very similar to mine. She looks fabulous!

I am very very disappointed, though I adore Ali Andrea a lot . This is where the problem lies . She should have chosen a real representation of that age bracket . Kasia has done loads of cosmetic support on her face(I am perfectly fine with that otherwise), so any sort of makeup will look good . Please bring some realistic women of 50+ aged woman . Goodness, the comments here. 🙄 I loved watching this tutorial! There is no need to make someone feel less than because so many see her as beautiful. The techniques and materials used are what is important here, and as someone rounding the corner to 40, I really appreciated this. We are all worthy of representation. Andrea isn’t going to be able to have models of every age, ethnicity, skin type, concern, etc. What would everyone prefer she call this- “makeup for a gorgeous woman?” Ok. Guess what? Your model reminds me of my Mom. Even when I lost her at 94 her skin was amazing! She NEVER used high end products ! Her favorite product for makeup removal and moisturizer was Nivea lotion... the original! Mom never used makeup brushes either except for lipstick. She also didn’t use black eyeliner. Her hair was about the color of this model and she had light blue eyes. She wore very light grey eyeshadow (just a hint) and a grayish blue eyeliner (Elizabeth Arden HYACINTH SKY which they recently discontinued.) Very pale blush and pink lipstick...she had about 3 shades. ALL her makeup amounted to about 10 items! Oh! She did wear EA foundation... just very lightly. Mom was so beautiful heads would turn when she entered a room. Errol Flynn’s wife threw a drink in his face because of the attention he was paying her in Acapulco! In other words, she was stunning! With hardly any makeup! 🌹

This is probably one of the best makeup tutorials I've seen, I think you applied the products beautifully and she looked stunning at the end. I so wish those products were cruelty free because I would purchase all of them in a flash. Please please can you do a similar look with all clean and cruelty free products ? Doamna e superba și rezultatul pe măsura. Dar mie mi-ar fi plăcut dacă ai fi ales pentru un machiaj pe ten matur, o doamna care sa semene mai mult cu majoritatea femeilor la 58 de ani, la care poate ne-ar fi fost mai ușor sa ne raportam.
