Both of them honestly need it. Kratos has been through such immense trauma, things unimaginable for a person to go through. Mimir was tortured daily for 109 years. This wasn’t simply just Kratos confronting his issues but Mimir as well. It also makes me so happy that Kratos has befriended several other gods and knows he can trust them. He has reasons to not trust a god but he’s dealt over that trauma. Kratos has come so far it’s incredible.

After being imprisoned and tortured for centuries, then losing his body, essentially his means of autonomy, its understandable that Mimir would be shaky in recognising himself as a man worthy of Sigrun, but more importantly, he's lost sight of his own personhood It speaks of Mimir's own insecurities clouding his judgement, rather than some mercy to Sigrun, because she's chosen Mimir, and she certainly deserves better fRom Mimir, who was close to giving up what they had before even trying(Hence Kratos' disappointment) That said, I obviously can't imagine how to go about rediscovering yourself as a talking head. But I didn’t mention any of that because on a surface level, just not feeling like enough and not being able to ignore what you believe are flaws is incredibly relatable. And praising how this was used to show the camaraderie and brotherhood between him and kratos. The man deserves happiness for sure, and I hope he gets that later on in the franchise. Just enjoying the human moments we got in this dlc through these conversations.

I know mimir's situation all too well, having someone that loves you and that you love back, yet looking at your own life, at what you are, and thinking to be in love with that has to be a mistake that both will pay for eventually. And mimir out of all people... well, only has his smarts now. She may now feel that his head is enough, but it would still mean living for eternity physically alone, with a talking object as her only companion to share love with. It would take a lot to make it work in a long run. Even for Mimir, who may start yearning for more himself in the future, now that he can actually focus on what HE wants instead of being Kratos' therapist for 2 years straight. Well, it's confirmed that Tyr, after getting his arm bit off by Garm, traveled to the other pantheon's and once he made it to the Egyptian pantheon he used a bit of magic to regrow it(that's why the tattoos on one of his arms are actually hieroglyphs and not runes), and since Kratos is going to the Egyptian lands he could possibly find out what Tyr used and could use it on Mimir 🤷

I’ve always loved the relationship between Kratos and Meir. It starts out with a degree of I don’t wanna say hostility, but I guess contempt on the part of Kratos himself. On one hand, i can understand Mimir’s rejection of Sigrun, thinking how a valk and a reanimated head can find love or build a future on in terms of practicality and logic. On another hand, Mimir is like the best bro around, and everyone knows it but him. Even Kratos would wish to kill if anyone dare mocked Mimir. Along the fact that Sigrun loves him so dearly that being just a head hardly matters. In terms of character and emotion, Mimir is absolutely awesome, even tho he doesn’t realised it.

Sigrun loves Mimir for his soul, for his intellect, not for his body. But he makes a good point, for how long would he keep her happy since the only comfort he can give her are words, never a hug, never a night spent together (well, there are ways, but still). He cannot support her practically on day-to-day basis. She would be building her life "alone" by her own bare hands, as Mimir can literally just talk to her and that's about it. It might work out and she can settle for limited relationship, but even if SHE would be happy, would Mimir as well? So far he talked about her needs, never mentioning needs of his own, and even tho he just spent months to years alongside Kratos and Atreus as a talking head, he didn't have to confront feelings and needs of his own, because he had no opportunity to do so, but now that his love for Sigrun is shared, he might become frustrated himself that he is so limited and cannot do anything to support their relationship. He might find himself wishing for more just as well. Not from her, but from himself. To disclose this, I'd say that even tho the message is clear that your body is not everything and relationships run much deeper than that, Mimir should still get a hold of one, since his relationship with Sigrun may not be sustainable on either side otherwise.
