1:55:45 I think this is one moment that is overlooked throughout all of the Wolfenstein series. It represents one of BJ's strongest character points: His empathy. Yes, he has killed well over a thousand Nazi soldiers at this point, fired off thousands of bullets and hundreds of explosives. But he has never been in a situation where any of those rounds were in risk of hitting a civilian. His actions never endangered noncombatants, always aiming for those armed and trained to kill him. And now, while Fergus just writes off what just happened as a part of the plan, BJ sees the tragedy that was caused by his hands and is completely horrified at what he did. It's a small detail in the grand scheme of things, but it perfectly shows you that he isn't a complete death dealing machine, but a man that unwittingly committed a tragedy against a people that suffer under a terrible regime and wholly regrets it.

If I had to choose one thing I love - and there's a lot to choose from in this game - it would be how Blazkowicz's dialogue is so quiet; like a whisper. The strongest people don't have to raise their voice. For someone as big and strong as he is, he's still a gentle giant to his friends and family. MachineGames nailed the writing for BJ, amplified even more by Brian Bloom's incredible performance. This is easily my favourite character he's ever played. It's an aspect lost in The New Colossus, where every other second Blazkowicz and Co are constantly shouting at each other. He loses that silent-hero demeanor. "Count to 4, inhale. Count to 4, exhale."

These games deserve to be made into movies. They are emotional, entertaining, aesthetially pleasing while not being unbelieveable, and in their own weird way are historically accurate. For example, I just noticed that Blazko doesn't know how to use a modern espresso machine. This makes sense, as the machine we use today was only invented in 1961. Blazko's train trip to Berlin would have been the first time he ever tried to pull a shot of espresso.

35:50 If you press the other mouse button while he's stabbing you, BJ will block the screwdriver. It doesn't make a difference overall, but realisticly makes sense as opposed to just punch him while he still stabbs you

The london monitor is a very cool enemy. gave me chill. This version of wolfenstein strayed away from the supernatural than the other past games but then the DLC(supernatural and back to the roots) came out of cos. I like the sci fi version of this game. Story is very good and one of the best like the witcher ,mass effect 1/2/3 , batman arkham series and etc i have played.

This helped me recap, I was stuck on the boss for London Nautica a few years back. Decided to start the game up again, and boy was it easy I was using the machine guns when I should’ve used the plasma rifle thing. Anyways helped me a lot because it really has been years since I’ve played this game.

The way they had the bad guys win and you were now fighting as a rebel in the years future was definitely different and interesting, but still it left a dissatisfied feeling that you missed out on the last moments of the war. Nazi's took over the world, no more organized opposition. Even the entirety of the U.S. military, not a single peep. I more liked how it was in the Resistance games. The world fell to the Aliens but the Military fought to the very bitter end.
@teamcybr83755 жыл бұрын
Turns out, that's what happens when you nuke a country. Also, there was definitely ongoing resistance in the US. You can see that if you read the newspaper clippings. Stopping a military is one thing, keeping down a population is quite another.
