You're not going to always know right off the bat if a panel is high strength steel or not untill you start the repair. Even once in awhile Mobile Tech Rx isn't always updated. This dent took a bit to get it to move.
Using the latest www.kecotabs.com "Dead Center Tabs" I show bits of clips how it was done.
Along with the No Roll tap down from www.edgytools.com and www.willeyquic...

This guy is the best in the business. His KZbin videos are great, films all the action, zooms in so you can actually see what the dent is doing and tells you specifically so you are learning.

Had a similar dent on my mustang , was installing a new garage door and the pole I had holding up the side rails as I was bolting it to the garage roof fell right on the edge of mustang side just like the one in this video .. I used the same technology as they did here , I even used the knockle of my finger to lift it up some as I saw it lifting up as I was taping it .. pretty amazing stuff

Does the paint come off with the glue if an inexperienced person performs it, is it soap water which is used to peal the glue off the car

Hey, I want to learn more about the weight of that 1 tool. It looked like it was weighted pretty weighty, it was the weight good in your hand though, or was it like weighted? Were you waiting to get that weight checked or was that weight just all about the weight, I'm waiting to hear from you. I mean not like wait wait, but I'm waiting like I'm not measuring wait. I'm just like sitting here waiting to hear about that wait, could you tell me more about that wait, please

I grabe the hammer by the head and strike with the handle cause i was told there was more control, and at first it felt weird but now looking at a hammer being used the way it was meant to be used makes me cringe a bit lol not sure why, great video and tutorial!

When chrome bumpers use to be "the thing" LOOONG time ago, there use to be a dude who served dealers in our area that would remove the bumpers and use large nylon versions of the tap-downs we use in PDR to pound them out from behind. They didn't come out perfect, just better.

Why not heat the metal before hand to make the metal molecules expand then do the pull. Dnt know too much about pdr ive always been on the auto body side with bondo but trying to learn pdr also

- Hot glue won't dry and on a harsh body line convex curve like that, it won't begin to move the metal Also, if it is high strength steel, you could lose proper temper AND on white especially, burn the paint.

Dont think it's high strength steel, but it is on a very tight curve which makes it seem stronger than usual, think high strength steel is only used for structural not cosmetic part of the car.But that's only my guess.

Slow going there. Cars here have 50-75 on the rails. I blend them slightly first then just pull and pull until they’re gone. Key is fast set, fast pull, fast knock down, repeat.15-20 tabs at a time Mini lifter gives a good snap for stubborn ones
