In 1993, at age 42, doc diagnosed a herniated disc; surgeon said surgery would see about 80% improvement. I declined procedure. FF 2 years. Massage therapist suggested hamstring stretching. Sciatic pain gone forever. At age 74 now. AS in remission, eat wise, no meds, stretches daily, thank you Jesus, life is great.❤

4 neurosurgeons told me a spinal fusion for a spondy…refusing. Not at 72. Taking my chances with PRP with a very skilled provider. Working on still doing some resistance training, food …totally non processed (Paleo/Keto), no crap food, red light acupuncture, sleep, and good old walking.

2 surgeons tried to scare me into surgery for spondy…. My local chiropractor taught me yoga poses that will help with pain….five years of yoga, better diet and walking more I barely have pain….dr. Osborne and my chiropractor are my doctors.

Choosing a Dr with those perspectives is good advice. The problem is insurance doesn't cover most functional medicine Dr's or DO's, let alone a naturopath.

It's sad (& shocking) that listed under "Chemical" is food, water, & air.

I always call indoor air fresheners "indoor pollution". The commercials for those products are appalling in the way they promote the idea that spraying their poison all over everything is all you need to do to make the house clean. The world's gone crazy.

I had to make the decision to buy a house for myself because of my health. I'm married but live separately from my husband. I had to . I almost died a few times from chemical exposures. My husband is a farmer & also lawn care/landscape business. I can't be around either.

I was referred to a ENT consultant because I had tonsil stones, at the time I had no idea what they were, lol, I do now. That consultant didn’t know what they were, nor did his trainee that attended the appointment at the hospital. He set me up for an operation, he would do it. The very morning that I went to hospital for the operation they disappeared. They must have fallen and I swallowed them or washed them down with my cuppa. I was glad, I didn’t want an operation, especially by that doctor, he was grubby, I had to tell him to stay away from me until he had cleaned his little mirror light thingy strapped to his forehead. He had blood and puss on it from a previous patient. I was disgusted at him. Thank goodness I was able to walk away with him touching me again.

I did got a back fusion surgery through the front of three levels L4 / L5 / S1 in the back, Every operation is a risk. Took me 10 years to recover. The reason was they had to take out a massive hernia this collapsed my back very painful! So i didn't had a choice..... The risk is also that the fusion won't work that happened to me. Having celiac DH certainly doesn't help.

I've had successful surgeries for removal of cysts in my sinuses, and removal of bursitis and a bone spur in my left shoulder. I'm guessing that It's easier for a surgeon to remove something than to add something natural.

I cannot neurologically handle those scents (same as mold)...immediate horrible debilitating skull ache, weak muscles, eye pain, fatigue. I'm super sensitive and it's hard to live like that

My mother told me shes having her cataracts removed. I suggested Castor oil because research I did said it works. But she'd rather use lasers 😮😮

Cotton and wool are now mostly unaffordable. Your skin can't stop a lot of the plastics/oils in synthetic fabric.

I was hit head on by another driver. Both feet were broken. I had surgery 6 months later to repair ankles. My ankles are fused. My feet are painful. I. Am considering having the rods and plates and screws removed. Then I can get an ankle replacement because I have no flexibility in my ankles. I’m wondering if anyone has had that done. I’m thinking my body may heal my ankles to flex with out the replacement as long as I put holistic stuff in. I appreciate any feedback from someone that has been in this situation. Thanks
