I re geared my front diff out of my 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 from factory 3.73 to 4.88 gears.

I am running 37’s I do not have the truck all back together so I have not driven it yet since regearing.

I end up changing to 4:88 and it was worth it. The acceleration is way better withe 37s. Only thing I wish I did different is I should of done a rear locker instead of posi.

To get race out Weld on race in couple spots n as weld cools it will draw .. it will almost fall out...

@@CaswellCustoms 10 bolt 8.5 with the 30 spline axles and a tru trac can handle 800+hp..check out stangkilr productions youtube..seen some na sayers on here!🤣👊🏻 justin built a 93 obs chevy truck with a lt4 a 10speed automatic and a built 10 bolt 8.5!!

Guys I'm going 35s on my rado 2500 HD with the 6l80e I do go off road would I be better with 4.88s or 4.56s I do go on the highway but I don't have to drive 85 mph either 60 to 65 is just fine by me. What's your opinion gents? Lol. Also what's a decent cheap locker for the rear?

Yur also goin prolly regret putting money into tha rear differential.. I just got done swapping my Tahoe to 14 bolt full floater.. if you really use your truck... Prolly be using 9.25 up front
