As you probably know, the Gen III and Gen IV small block engines are part of the insanely popular LS engine family. We’ve discussed the LS in depth in previous videos and what makes them so popular. The Gen V small block, codename LT, has been out for quite a while now and GM uses it in a ton of different vehicles, and the LT is starting to become popular for engine swaps.

Great job explaining. However, it would be more effective if the cars were shown far less and the actual engine more. Showing a bunch of Corvettes and Cameros doesn't illustrate the engine layout or help people to see the key physical differences in the engines

*and if you thinking about swapping an LT GEN V to an LS then you better think twice. LT Gen 5 is way more powerful than LS, basically Gen 5 LT is an upgrade from Gen 4 LS. The only reason LS is all hype is because its cheap and old school. LT gen 5 are new and higher tier so it's more expensive to build and Tune.*

I do love my LS7. And I'd love to see a version of it in the new C8 in the Z06 option. But, Taj Jucheter in an interview said with all the new regulations, the displacement was just too big. And the N/A power gain wasn't enough. Which is why the C7Z is an updated CZR6. Rumors are the C8Z may have a flat plane crank with QOHC config. It'd be very interesting to see how they package it.
@Dustrunnersauto
