Honestly: solid analysis with some great humor. He emphasized the positional weaknesses created by poor moves - and also showcased why. He kept it light and fun. My thought process: What the? Was that a blitz or bullet game? Because there was a ton of moves that looked like they were in a major haste. *Checks* Nope, 10 minute rapid. So were they low on time? *Checks again* Nope, Rook takes C4 had 5:04 left. White had 8:23, though that is pretty fast playing, which may be part of it. Were the players nervous or tired? Because other than that I'm baffled, lol! It was a very fun game to run through though!

the vast majority of all players are bad at chess, and they don't have good board vision or the ability to calculate more than 1-2 moves ahead at MOST. they still try their best, but their best is bad

When people play so badly it seems impossible that they find a good move but sometimes they do. Today I hung mate in 3 to win a piece. Thought was worth it and hed never see... lol. It was that dumb backrank mate where white had to see Qf8+!! Before just plonking some wood on the backrank. He wasnt as bad as he played.

For those who don't understand why Ben is so horrified with Rxc4: Rxc4 is the type of move that gives away you either don't understand the position in the slightest or you have already given up. If you're down a rook and a bishop, and your opponents king is on h4, with all his pieces stuck on the backrow behind pawns, one of two things will happen. 1. You mate your opponent, through a sequence of forcing moves . 2. He develops and you lose. Any none forcing moves* give your opponents time to make use of his extra material. Any pawns won or lost don't matter much since you are already down so much material. *yes, it's a capture, but under the circumstances that is nowhere near forcing enough.
