One of my favourite things in videos like this (goes for lots of other channels that show tricks in various sports) is seeing the progression from idea through repeated failure to success. Not because I can laugh or point fingers at the mistakes, but because it shows that even the best make mistakes, and that's such an important thing to not only know but also to see in order to motivate people. Far too often we treat failure as the end of the road and something horrible rather than as a natural and expected step on the road towards success, and videos like these help break down that mindset.

A very nice video! What tires are you using there? I'm about to buy my first 26" fatty, or a 27,5+. A difficult decision between them. Surely a + would be more aggressive and agile, but a real fatbike with something like at least 4,6" tires might be super cool and better in the winter time.

@@iffy5bassthunder677 love what you said. I've had one person tell me they're only for sand/snow and that they're too hard to ride on pavement. I wish people would keep comments like that to them because it discourages people from going out and having fun. Both my parents who know nothing about bikes did a little test ride and were amazed and how smooth and comfortable the ride is. Which is true, doesn't matter where you're riding, it just feels like you're floating. Fat bikes are enjoyable however you wanna ride.

What model is this bike? Looking at getting one and this one seems to be really good in all the videos you have done with it.

Really enjoy these street videos with Martyn and Blake. Gives viewers ideas that are awesome for practice that I personally would not think of on my own. Will be trying these (albeit on a much smaller scale than Blake does). Thank you very much for these excellent videos!

You two are just so fun to watch! I am giggling like crazy here in our staff room. You guys just pulled out a different kind of mountainbiking fun. P.S. I sent you an email of my bike. Almost the same as this bike that blake is riding =). Keep putting up this fun and entertaining content! =)

Nooo you missed out on the most fun part of street fatting. If you pump up the tyres a good bit you can make any curb or similar obstacles into kickers and fly trough the streets.

I have a cheap heavy fatbike. Not the best but I have fun riding around in the streets with it. It didn't take me long to learn bunny hops. I can't pop up very high but I can clear a curb now. The way I move my body makes me think of how I do an ollie on a skateboard. I didn't have a bike for 15 years. I saw a fat bike online and It just looked cool. I take the same speed and aggression that I have in skateboarding and apply it to a bike. If anything I feel more confident starting out because of my skating. Still can't manual very long or wheelie.
