check your belt tension. check your fluid and or replace. yes it could.

I have A 2002 denali xL out of the blue its making a sound that the power steering would make if it's low on fluid,but it's not in the steering it's going threw the motor and it's getting louder I have no leaks plz help

It might be something with your hydro-boost, it works with he power steering pump too. If the sound is from the engine, do you hear it all the time or more with certain things on like the A/C or radiator cooling fans running?

i haveno power assist to he right but ok when turning left. Is this the pump problem or the steering gear box. Please answer asap . thank you for any help. the vehicle ia 2000 chev Silverado with regular power steering.

check your belt at your pump and make sure it's doing its job. it may be your gearbox. but I would replace both because of the age.

Do not Spray Cleaner inside Throttle Body can Damage Electrical part Throttle Position Switch! put on gloves Non Latex Spray Brake Cleaner on Clean Rag or Paper Towel open Throttle Valve Plate (Engine off) by pushing with fingers on top of throttle Plate wipe off Dirt-Carbon off Housing&Plate your done Safe way Cleaning Throttle Body not called Mass Air Flow that's at Air Filter Duct to Throttle Body. i'm ASE Certified Master Mechanic 45+ Years Experience

Thats what I've always heard to, but I did it anyway I've sprayed cleaned inside my throttle body on every car I've owned and let it sit to make sure it drys before plugging everything in and starting it and have never had an issue I must have gotten lucky dozens of times. I'm a self certified do it myself mechanic 20+ years experience.
