What’s the difference dual watch and priority scan? They seem similar

Although similar Dual-Watch allows users to quickly program a small scan group to monitor two channels, with additional scan time for your selected priority channel. Hope this helps!

Can confirm you showed two things- open scan including priority channel every 5 secs and secondly priority scanning being just scanning selected channels? There’s no way to mesh them together- open scan checking all channels but checking each of the selected channels every 5 secs?

You can do this on certain radios (e.g. XRS-660, TX6600S) that feature multiple priority channels, by setting multiple priority channels and running open scan.

Same process as adding a channel - go to the channel you wish to remove and press & hold the scan button

I set my priority channels problem is if some transmits on a station it doesn’t stay there when I press the mic it always reverts to 40.Any ideas

That is strange! We would recommend doing a factory reset on the unit and if the issue still persists please give our tech support team a call on 1300463463 and they will be able to assist!

Can you answer any of the Channel’s selected when you are in priority Scan and does it then return to scan automatically after finish

When in Priority Scan pressing the PTT at any time will transmit on the Priority channel, not any other channels.

Watched your video on setting priority channels but the functions described do not fit with the TX634b . Is there a video specific to this model?

If I go to say, zone 3 , can I customise this zone, specifically my priority channels, without affecting all the others zones? Cheers!

Hi Tony, yes that is correct! Editing a zone will only affect that zone and not the others.
