Some good channels to add to scan is Channel 18, 29, 30 and 40 . Channel 5 is ok to add to here emergency channel

Hey Tony, I just installed my xrs300c. When scanning, it gets stuck on chanel 18, which is static only but stays on 18 until I manually skip. Doesn't matter where the vehicle is when driving around. Any idea why? Thanks.

Hi Gareth, Not too sure why that is happening. Firstly we would recommend doing a factory reset to see if that removes the issue, if it still persists we would recommend contacting our service department on [e-mail] and they will be able to look into this further.

@liamburgess6608 Hey Liam, no real result as yet, unfortunately. I have just locked out the channels that this happens, too. I rang the tech guys who were great to deal with, but they thought it strange. They felt that the car was giving off a frequency that the radio picked up, thinking it was chatter. I'm going to have a look at where I installed it and perhaps change its location. Hope this helps.

@@garethbull724 I have found when my lights are on it doesn't do it.. so must be something do to with power Interference, good idea with rechecking where it's Installed, or even rerun the cables differently to see if that makes a change
