The GMF is a beautifully engineered bar .It's great to see a smaller Australian producing a product of this quality. Yes, Jamie, it looks quite a complex installation.

Can i tell you something. I have been seeing your videos from some time and you have taught me so much. I had a hilux back in the days and i used to copy whatever you were doing with your 200LC. I don’t even trust the workshops now. I do everything myself thanks to you 🫡🫡

I built my 200 based on some of the mods you did on your 200. I don't have a 300 yet, God will its on the horizon and I look forward to see how you progress with your 300 build.

Another great video Jamie. I.ve got the XGS suspension with an ARB bar but seems a little nose down. Do you have the front height measurement as yours seems nice and level. Mine is 545mm from center of hub cap to bottom of guard. Cheers Andy

Miss your 200 at all? Or is the 300 just so much better?
@austimages10 ай бұрын
Don't really miss it. The 300 is better in most ways. I miss the V8 sound a bit, and I find the 300's endless driver 'features' to be a bit annoying. But it's a nicer car to drive, more comfortable, has about the same performance, and uses less fuel. Plus I like to embark on a new modification adventure!

Keep up the good work mate. Thanks for the feedback as I look at the 300s but I love my 200…

How many hours was this install?

Great video Jamie! Did you have to change the car suspension in 300? Or can you install this without it?
@austimages9 ай бұрын
I have aftermarket suspension, but there's no need to have it to install the bar

How heavy are these bars and how much are they for a VX300?
@austimages5 ай бұрын
I'm not sure of the exact weight. I'd say maybe 50kg or so. You can check that and the current price through GMF. www.gmf4x4.au/product-page/toyota-landcruiser-lc300-2022-g6-steel-bumper

ARB is way better

I like ARB stuff, and used ARB bars for 30 years before this. ARB make a great hooped bullbar (Their 'Summit' bar). But if you just want a channel/bumper replacement bar like this one, then the GMF is IMO far better than the ARB 'Sahara' bar. Much better looking. Integrates with the shape of the car better. Tapers up under the headlights rather than being flat. Doesn't use a cut around small piece of the original plastic bumper near the guards. Much better placed recovery points, integrated highlight jack holes etc. Here's the ARB Sahara bar so you can see what I'm talking about: instagram.com/arb4x4/p/Cl0appVOmBS/
