Alex sold his channel to a guy in Las Vegas who renamed it Royalty Rebuilds.(www.youtube.com/@RoyaltyRebuilds/featured) but the C-10 was never featured on it after the sale. IT would be nice to know what's been going on with it since and how it got to Dibold Autobody.

I would like to thank you for taking on this project. I remember it being built on the tv show. And then I remember it being wrecked. I always wanted a square body and I was really invested into this project. When I found out that another person had picked up the project I was reinvested in the truck again. And when the build went silent I wondered if it had been scrapped or abandoned. Thanks for bringing life back to this beautiful truck.

I started in a GMC dealer body shop in 1974 when these trucks were new. I then worked for a Chevy body shop . worked on a lot of these trucks over the years. I knew Alex was over his head with this and am glad to see it getting a new attempt to come back. Still sanding and painting 48 years later.

Glad to see this truck being saved. I remember seeing the Fast and Loud episode where they built that truck, and then it being wrecked and later bought up by Alex where I watched the rebuild process. Glad to see the project's finally coming along again.

Hello I am glad you took over the build on this truck! It was one of my favorite builds on KZbin until it went silent! Alex went silent on this truck build then Kondorbuildz went silent on the GT500 build! He started doing wrecking yard videos and not much else. I visit the wrecking yards enough without subscribing to it. Anyhow I can see you are an outstanding builder and it will be cool to see you finish the Gas Monkey Truck! Thank you!

I remember when GMG pretended to build this truck in 5 or 6 weeks or whatever crazy time frame they said it was. The truck came out awesome though once all done. I'd be curious to know if it showed rushed work or not and if that time frame was real, or even possible in your opinion?

I liked that Alex kid but sometimes I think he lacked the experience needed for certain projects. I heard the real reason he sold his youtube channel was because he came into some liability issues with a previous build. Wish the kid the best tho. Glad to see this truck back.

Only just catching up with this truck again after Alex took the task on of repairing it. For what I gathered when Alex decided to finish his channel was that it wasn’t to far away from completion, I never knew all the rear end had to come off due to poor alignment.

Reliving a defunct channels unfinished rebuild. Watched the "previous builder" spiral after moving to Atlanta area(?). I don't remember "previous builder" trying to go back and reinvent the front end any differently than how GMG did it... just fix it. He WAY overspent putting a new frame underneath trying to make it better. Hats off to him for putting his vision behind at the time, no? Otherwise this could have gone to, NO WAIT I KNOW WHO!!!, GOONZSQUAD! LOL! This rig never got finished and now we are on to the woulda coulda shoulda experts. Good Luck guys... hope the predictable "viral" Algorithm was worth your (or the owners) effort. 1.29k as of this post. For the C10 guys... lets see how far this goes. Routing for you guys! Peace 😀

I seen Alex start the rebuild of the truck and the frame and air system but at one point in time he was waiting on parts and info then all went dead on the Channel and his Vlogs but there was a Company that Took over the Build of the car and ownership of it so i would be asking what that company did to the Truck before i would say Alex did any wrong think the company rented Exotic Cars in Vegas . Just saying lol :) And like the rest it needs to be finished Good Luck.
