Guess what, Sir Igor? Today, I made Rapid 1007!!! I could made it because of your lessons! Thanks so much for your hard work. You made chess players proud.😎Cheers!🍻🍾
The bar graph can also be justified by the fact that among these 6 great chess players, Bobby Fischer was the only one self-taught chess player who got help from the "God of Chess", propelling him to beat the Soviet Chess Machine. All the rest had/have a team of coaches/trainers to propel their chess talents. Yes, Bobby Fischer is an absolute Chess Legend.

I actually bought Fischer 's book 60 memorial games. You really need to spend days on this book in order to learn. I don't recommend it for beginners. I took it because it it's available very rarely at least in my country, and Fischer is the reason I play chess. Most powerful move in chess history is with white light square bishop C4 to B3.

curious choice of 6 photo candidates for greatest chess player of all time... Fischer, Kasparov, Carlsen and even Karpov have legit claims, but Anand and Levon? Replace them with Capablanca and Tal.

The difference between Fischer and Carlsen............ Fischer actually understood the squares and positions and tactics. Carlsen memorized known openings and lines and responses. Fischer is superior. The test..... Chess960. All Carlsen's memorization would become worthless but Fischer's skills would still be valid and valuable. Fischer is the GOAT.

Fischer beat the weakest chess World champion Boris Spassky only 17 wins 10 losses! Capablanca would beat Spassky easily 8 wins 6 draws zero losses! Carlsen would beat Spassky easily 6 wins 6 draws zero losses! Fischer beat Spassky 10 wins 15 draws 5 losses in 1992! Spassky was 162nd world ranking and rated 2558 in 1992! Fischer score 58,33%! So we get Fischer rating 2617,78 in 1992 at age 49! Crazy lunatic Yasser Seirawan claiming wrongly that Fischer was world record power and form in 1992! The highest tournament elo rating score is Fabiano Caruana 8,5/10 StLouis elo 3100! Karpov 11/13 Linares 1994 elo 3040!Alekhine in San Remo 1930 elo score 3040! Fischer his best tournament only 2990! Karpov have won over 160 super grand Master tournaments! Fischer won zero! Fischer won only inter zonals 1962 1970! Fischer was Second in Santa Monica 1966 behind blunder maker Spassky! Fischer did not win Havanna 1965! Morphy Tal Alekhine Kasparov have More beautiful games than Fischer! Awful Spassky beat Fischer Ten times! Carlsen is 100xtimes better than Spassky! Carlsen would win 30 times against Fischer easily!!
@chandie52986 ай бұрын
@@RaineriHakkarainen Playing Chess960, given 10 games... Fischer would beat Carlsen 10 times. Without the memorized openings and lines, Carlsen would be lost. Completely and utterly lost. Fischer would win every single game. You are very biasedly stating the history. Fischer took the chess world by storm and wiped the entire Russian chess team... all being completely and lavishly funded...wanting for nothing.... everything provided for them and their families... off the face of the earth. Fischer was not a chess genius, he was a genius who played chess. His IQ made Einstein look like a booger eating moron.... Carlsen's memorization skills are impressive but if you make him play Chess960, he would instantly have the equivalent of a FIDE rating of maybe 1500 at best. Fischer would be the Chess960 world champ with no real competition.

@@chandie5298Fischer is so overrated LMAO, he isn't even above Kasparov much less Magnus, bums just loves hyping up old dudes in the past
@chandie5298Ай бұрын
@@allencastro9344 I replied but deleted it because it was too similar to my original post. Bobby Fischer is the greatest chess player we've ever known... let me try to illustrate it another way. You should go back and watch videos (film reels converted to video) of commentary by other highly rated GMs of some of Fischer's games while they are being played. Other highly rated GMs...contemporaries were often CERTAIN that Fischer had made mistakes....they didn't understand his moves...they didn't see any possible win....and then Fischer would make make a few more moves and completely demolish his oppoent. The commentary was from high level GMs who know more than you will ever know about the game of chess. They were astounded, confused, floored, amazed at what Fischer did. They couldn't even process it. After the game was played they would go over the moves and even having hindsight...they didn't understand how he has planned it. The reason you can't grasp the unearthly level of Fischer's play is either due to your ignorance (not stupidity but lack of knowledge) or your self-delusion. I suggest you do this. Go find the greatest gap between Magnus fide rating and the 2nd best at that time. Then go find Fischers greatest gap between himself and the 2nd best player. NOBODY...not Magnus, not anyone else has ever had a larger gap between himself and the WORLDS 2nd best player at that time. Fischer is the GOAT...and nobody has ever equalled his accomplishments.

I put Morphy at #1 all time because he spanked everyone else his entire career. Fischer at #2 solely because he did not defend his title. I appreciate you brought up the point inflation. Somewhere I saw that Carlsen, who is at the top with Fischer and Morphy I think, was rated at ~3900. I just started following chess again after retiring and I was gob smacked by that rating. A 1000 points better then Fischer? Thought that Carlsen and Fischer were similar. Masters before they were teens and remained at the top as adults. Anyhoo thanks for posting and letting me relive the chess of my youth.
