Another cracking video in your series on bishop pins. Very helpful, many thanks! And your 3 Steps to ELO 2000 course was very good too.

"Connect Four" describes the game. Imagine if "Chess" had been named "Sequence". It's not always what We play; it's usually when.

A great & effective way of tackling the pin problem. Please igor, i have a professional question: could you give a detailed and thorough explaination between the pirc defense and modern defense & how could you beat and crush them either in white or black positions. Thank you enadvance & have a pleasant day.

The lesson is based on spacial advantage. Attack on the side where you have space advantage with your pawns.

I wish I had a mind like Capa's. Not the amazing tactical acuity, but the strategic sense.

God don't make anyone like Capablanca anymore. Not since He made Capablanca himself.

What if instead of capturing the knight his opponent would of simply played knight e6 to capture the rook? @2:13 minutes
