In the West this isn't radical at all considering nonwhites literally get given jobs and university spots based solely on their race. You won't find this happening in any non-white countries. It will make even more sense as a slogan as the migrant invasion of Europe, US, and Canada continues.

Love the QGA and seeing my opponents already pausing to think for a few seconds longer than usual out of the opening. Leads to exciting positions!

I very often play 1. d4 d5 2. c4 dxc4 3. Nc3 ... 4. e3 ... 5. Bxc4 with good results (at beginner level), seeing the flaws of that opening is very instructive, thanks!

Here's a funny line in the QGA: 1. d4 d5 2. c4 dxc4 3. Nf3 (3. e3 b5 4. a4 b4) 3... Nf6 4. e3 b5 5. a4 b4 The engine hates it, but it scores well against humans because it's completely out of book and white has no easy way to get rid of the black pawn on b4.

The problem with e5 after e3 is after Nf6 white has Qb3, and unless they trade the queen off you’re going to be winning material in most of those lines. And trading the queen requires you to give white a huge lead in development. I recommend to beginners playing Nf3, letting the bishop capture the pawn. The thematic …c5, most new players will just capture the pawn and black is fine, if they don’t black is still pretty equal. Follow it up with e6 and a6 almost no matter what white plays, capture back with your bishop if they take the pawn, at that point you don’t mind trading queens because you’re gonna be able to easily manually castle or at least get out of the way of your rook in the center. And you’ve got a very playable position.

I play QGA for some time already, different way than suggested, but same sharp and many positions transpose. Its always funny for me to see faces of typical 1400-2000 elo players, who invariably tend to think only noobs play QGA, only to find themselves in mess pretty soon. This one is really hilarious, and also sound (unlike russoa gambit 😂😂😂)

I see no reasons for white to play knight c3 on second move... Why not just play e4 and allow the bishop to take the pawn?

QG is a strong opening! It's kinda fun to get to move 10. And see which grandmasters have played your game before! More likely my games fall off the map pretty early lol.

Hi, Igor can you please discuss if white doesn't go queens gambit in second move instead he goes to bishop c5 after d5 move of black. 🙏

Looks pretty great to me but i love having 2 pawns in the center.

I'm 1500, always playing the accepted variation only because I somehow always get crushed in qgd. I have never seen anyone play a4. I'll sometimes even just let go of the pawn and have them develop the bishop actively only so they wouldn't be too comfortable playing the declined variation.

Igor, have you ever gone over the Open Ruy Lopez? It's theoretically sound but hardly any GMs play it. Why don't they, the engine ( Lichess and Chess com put white with a +0.1 advantage with open Ruy so it's sound. Also there's pretty cool traps with Open Ruy isn't there ?
@dingowalli Жыл бұрын
There is a Berlin defense line that black can play against Ruy Lopez that usually leads to a draw. GM playing as white doesn't want to play an opening with a easy draw that black can achieve. As white they want to play for a win

@9:42 instead of Bb4+ why not Nf2? The only counter white can do that I spotted is Qb3, but after, say Na1, d6 cd Bf7+ Ke7 black seems to be on top.
