MrJinglejanglejingle actually they don’t canonically show up at all. The League isn’t canon anymore, so the game is all a hypothetical. Plus, champs like Aurelion Sol are literally so fucking big that they couldn’t fit on the rift. Basically, the fights ain’t canon anymore.

@@MrJinglejanglejingle Making the game itself canon in the lore of a competitive game like league is usually a bad idea. How do you even justify blind mode where Garen can fight Garen? Or god-like characters like Asol fighting in an arena under the control of some random mage dude? Look at Overwatch. It's another game with a strong focus on lore and interactions between characters, but why the hell would they team up and fight their friends or sometimes themselves to push a damn payload?

@@boristhespider9487 Well... It begs the question, then. Why are we playing? Yes, the game is fun, but... What is the point of playing the game? I like to feel involved in a game's world. Not just be an observer. That's what a movie is for. What reading a book is all about.

In fact, almost all of them got reworked: Morgana received some tweaks, but it was mostly visual. Ashe and Alistar (and I believe Cho'Gath, but not sure) had a couple abilities changed. Kayle, Katarina and Warwick were almost completely reworked (WW had a massive visual upgrade). Ryze has been reworked multiple times now; his kit is just too overpowered to properly function in game, so he has to be put in check every now and then. I think the ones that are pretty much as they always were are Master Yi and Nasus (maybe Nasus has been tweeked, not sure). But Yi's time is coming, I think.

Fun fact: The lore from back then was super changed and is way different from now. You see, way back in the day, the summoners(or players) was part of the lore that didn't fit together. Just random champs here and there this guy knows this and that. So the hooded people in the first scene with globes are actually the "summoners" and the champions are in their globes. The reason why there was a structure in the beginning was because the "champions" were set out to join the "League of Legends" which was like a battling arena for the best of the best. Now the lore removed that concept of arenas and the summoners in the lore or so we think because there is this modern lore story where they mention the "Legend of the Summoners"(I can't remember, back me up LoL fans!). This is just my theory because there was a place called "Blessed Isles" now the "Shadow isles", they were like an alien race hidden from Runeterra and had these advanced tech and then they vanished because the black mist gave birth to the Shadow Isles by destroying the Blessed eyes. so my theory is what if the Blessed isles was a place where summoners used to live?? There is also Rhast's hint in the Odyssey event where the announcer was Rhasst and Kayn and there was this unforgettable line I remember where Rhasst says, "Summoners..so they DID survive" but that's just all me. Also wolf guy is Warwick, the dog with the war staff who Ryze stunned was Nasus(Susan). The two sisters is Kayle("good girl") and Morgana("bad girl"). Their lores was never tied together and they were just called sisters, no context of why the other one was a fallen angel and why the other one was an ascended angel until the rework and the rework showed(to me) that Kayle bases her decisions on her mind/brain(judgement, what is right, disregarding feelings, etc..) while Morgana bases her decisions on her heart/feelings(sympathy,empathy,disregarding what is right to save someone in need, etc..) Why I hate Kayle now? In one day, Morgana was left on Runeterra(where Demacia stands now) with her dying father and this is when Kayle also ditches her sister to take up the celestial duty(heavenly duty) left by their mother who died years ago when they were kids. The catch? The more clestial you are, the less human you are, vice versa and the twins are demigods(mother is a god, father is a human and they get twin angels as children).

Well, the primary issue I have with the new lore is... Why do these characters show up in the Rift? What brings them there? Why do they fight? There's no lore for that. Its just... They show up, they fight, they go home. Kinda... Boring, and rather bland.

Silver Sky9 Kayle and Morgana are both the aspect of Justice but in its two forms: Truth and Mercy. Kayle thinks that the world is black and white and you are either good or evil, no in between. Morgana sees that humans and gods are both a mixture of many things and not everyone is inherently one or the other and that some people who have done evil things really want to be good people. And on that, along with their general lore on Universe with their mother being the original aspect of justice and living in Demacia and whatnot, that’s their story.

It's funny for me to see someone say Kayle (the angel type champion) is a "good girl" and her sister Morgana is'nt, but in fact, it's the opposit, Kayle is a Tyrant and created the philosophy of Demacia witch is, destroying all magic including people who just born with it, so kind of very bad stuff, Morgana in the other hand, is more the one who just want to save people. While Kayle represent autority and strong will, Morgana represent feelings and kindness. So yeah it's very funny for me that because she's basically an angel she must be the good one ^^, what if angel, from the start are the bad one, and the demons the good ones? that's what Riot made I guess ^^ Fun video even if I watched it with some delay ^^ Sorry for my english, I'm French and not good at all with that language I just can understand people talk so that's enough for now xD. Amusingly Both Morgana and Kayle are for justice. Morgana seeks atonement for those who want to be redeemed, where as Kayle only seeks to punish all who break the law. Morgana bound her own wings as punishment for her mistakes in the past, where Kayle claimed no responsibility for her part in it and left seeking only to rid herself of emotion.

Not truly Good v Evil. Maybe at the time that what Riot was intended but knowing everything now. Kayle & Morgana are now one of those stories were one sister is good or bad in whatever perspective they are viewed in. Kayle is a savior to most Demacians but then a vicious ruthless zealot to others while Morgana is viewed as a freedom fighter or a aloof terrorist. Warwick was tortured & continues to be by his new lore. Nasus is currently the sane one in his family as his brother Renekton was sealed away with Zeraf & turned evil. Caitlyn is like anyone on the other side of a war evil or good depending on the side she's on. Especially now we know her & Garen are secretly dating. Only one who truly could be called evil is Cho'Gath as he's a void spawn or something like that. He bad.. Lol
