I have three monitors. How can I pull the lightbox to a second monitor and keep it permanently open? Same with all my brushes. What if I want to see them all the time on a separate monitor? Thanks

Unsure about that. Only work with one monitor myself. Not even sure Zbrush has that capability.

No problems with volume on my end. Was curious as to why 4R8 installed in the regular program files and not the x86 like R7. One thing however that happened when I had to initialize R8, all of the sudden R7 would not load and crash at start up with an error. Thanks again for the great vids!

+ZephrusPrime Not sure about the R7 problem, I'm thinking of reactivating it to test my Greebles I'm designing in R8, this way I know it works in both before I release my update

Hi, it installs in this folder because it is not a 32-Bit application anymore, it is 64-Bit.

I was wondering if that was the reason. I didn't realize that because other 64 bit programs and games still installed in the program x86 folder.

Then they have still 32-Bit parts or the startup (.exe) is 32-bit but ZBrush is now a full 64-Bit application.

In R8, I seem to be having an issue adding the symmetry buttons to my top shelf. Everything is spaced properly and nothing is overlapping. Everything seems to show up in a reload except for these buttons. Is there a special location they need to be added to?

+Luvkraft you shouldn't need to put them anywhere special. Could of been a hiccup or you forgot to store configuration after you edited it.

I have a problem with Zbrush 4R8 .. I cannot "rename" Subtools , and neither menus ... Can you help ?

+ΠΕΤΡΟΣ ΚΟΤΛΙΔΑΣ I'm unsure what the problem can be. I'm using 4R8 patch 2, select subtool you want to rename, click rename button in subtool menu, change name, and press enter. Works okay for me.

I'm doing exactly that , right now .. it doesn't work :P I hear "Ding" as a windows sound ( Weird ) .. .the same sound when you enter a folder and you press a letter ( for example "X" ) but there's no file starting with that letter

Are you using 100% Windows DPI Scale ? or 125% Windows DPI Scale ?

+ΠΕΤΡΟΣ ΚΟΤΛΙΔΑΣ Windows should be 100%. I do have button size to 38 in preferences/interface in Zbrush

No need to, put file anywhere. Just go to preferences click load UI and load the UI file. Then just click store configuration and it'll keep that UI every time you start Zbrush.

Do you know of a way to import your saved 4r7 UI into 4r8. Or would that cause more problems than just redoing the whole thing.

+soulcatch It'll work just fine. You'll just need to put the live Boolean and Gizmo back into the UI, so you'll have easy access to them. I loaded my old one in there and it worked just fine.
