@@KyawKyaw-hq4fnI can tell you OVA wise so far 6 movies that are 2 hours each. Those cover the events before the main series. The Doan island movie is a major time skip that occur after Jaburo but before Odessa. That when the GM rolled out.

Mobile Suits are very expressive as if they're humans instead of war machines used by the Federation and Zeon pilots.

That's kinda the point. These are meant to be colossal, mechanized space suits, that a skilled operator can move as fluidly and flexibly as their Normal Suit. They aren't clumsy walking tanks.

@@watchm4ker The problem is these are not skilled operator yet their movements in the animations are so human-like and expressive that they lacked the heavy, clumsy robotic feel that UC suits were supposed to have.

Interesting how both GMs did HAVE potentially devastating weapons layouts, but failed to use them properly. First GM had multiple missile pods, albeit ones fired way too early. Pilot also failed to use the head vulcans against a rapidly approaching close-quarters opponent. Second GM had even more weapon types: a shoulder-mounted launcher, even a beam saber for melee combat. And this is on top of the head vulcans AND beam gun. But the pilot not only panic fires, he turns his BACK to his opponent while retreating. He fails to draw his beam saber for the very likely possibility of melee combat. This renders the pilot basically defenseless, since all his weapons are now facing away from his opponent. Clear evidence of lack of training and inexperience. Sending them into combat was pure idiocy as they were blatantly not ready.

The GMs entered service only a one or two weeks before this event (November 0079). This might be their first actual combat against another mobile suit. Lol. Also, people talk as if this wasn't something we did IRL. Plenty of helicopter and fighter pilots in WW2, Korea, and Vietnam were just kids fresh out of flight school.

Feddies just got more money, they'd rather dump these lesser soldiers instead of sacrificing their top dogs. The same thing can't be said with the late OYW Zeon which already had a lot their aces wiped out by the White Devil 💀

@@laylahoang We can see from this scene, how wasted this pilot just spamming shot, without any calculation or starategy, that's why they are suck. From their age they look old, maybe they don't even finished training, because Federation is corrupt, maybe they got to pilot Mobile Suit because they are have connection above, when real battle hit, they chicken out.
