Saw this guy live in 1986 at the Abilene Cafe in NYC. Was completely stricken after his beguiling performance. he opened for Charlie Musselwhite and Al Lewis of the Munsters was there..what a show!

What a great guy, and great music! I discoverded him around the time he put out "One Believer." I loved the album and got to see and meet him at the Cabooze in Minneapolis. He was a very nice guy. I was shocked to read an article a few months later saying he had just died.
