The Pokémon world, as we see from cities like Verbank in Unova and Motostoke from the Galar region, is very industrial. The Pokémon world’s night sky is likely very dark, and thus, a black ninja would be harder to see than a dark blue ninja.

Not... Really... They just romanticized them and turned them into musicals so that they could appeal to wider audiences. This is especially problematic with the ones based on true stories like Pocahontas and Hunchback too. Sources like The Brothers Grimm, Peter Pan, the Wonderland lore and Arabian Nights are legendary too, they've been adapted so many times, usually in far more accurate capacity. I mean I am not saying Disney's adaptations are poor quality but "made them better"? That's far debatable.

Skiddo and Gogoat could possibly be based on ancient greek sacrifices, particularly at Delphi where it was always a goat. Sacrifices were preferably white for gods with sky association like Apollo, and the horns were often decorated with gold. Red hooves because it's a sacrifice and that gets blood everywhere. Not sure why that would be the route anybody would think to go with, but it fits more of the details than just being pale goats.

Actually it was the romans that made purple a royal color. It was because the dye the used was made by crushing snail shells of which it took roughly 1000 to color a toga. It became such a status symbol that it was punishable by death to where purple although eventually some rich people where able to have 2 small purple striped on each end of their toga.

Bergmite and Avalugg shiny are partly yellow and green because Glaciers picks up layers of sand, dirt and grass as they slowly move across the ground. And then those layers get trapped deeper inside as the glaciers melt and refreeze over time.

Um, akshully... 'purple meaning royalty and wealth' didn't originate with French nobility but with the Romans. The ancient Roman kings and, after the Republic, their emperors wore purple clothing. This was because purple dye was made from a special kind of slug and was super rare and therefor very expensive, meaning only the very rich and very powerful were able to afford clothes in that colour.
