@@sarahosis Ill try explaining myself, if you still have trouble then theres something else wrong with your earbuds. On whichever device that youre using your earbuds with go to the bluetooth settings and forget the jlab option. After that place both earbuds in the case and tap the right earbud 7 times and once u see the blue light blink 4 times and turn off go ahead and tap the left earbud 7 times as well (whilst in the case) and wait for the 4 blinks. Once you see that both blinked 4 times take them out of the case, one should be glowing white and the other white and blue. If theyre glowing accordingly then you basically finished so now you go to bluetooth on your device and connect them.

I came here to ask the exact same question. I turn off my Bluetooth to let someone hear my phone. After 3 min the earphone turns off. Only way I can get them back on is putting it back in the case. 😡😡

Most notable complaints: 1. Can't power on after it times out and turns off with out the case. 2. Very often will unpair with each other and will have to do that tap 7 times to repair with each other. 3. No way to store the buds *with out* them charging. 4. Touch controls are quite inconsistent and finicky.

As for #3 most devices auto-charge when you stow them in their power source and stop when they don't need anymore charge.

@@moneymagnetismnetwork referring to your response to #3, I had the Mi Airdots before this and they had a dedicated button at the back to start charging the dots. I understand the no buttons thing for the water resistance but it'd been nice to have some way to control whether they're charging or not because this way I have to store them separately in another pouch when I don't need them to charge AND THEN put them inside, take them out to start using them.

My problem is: my left ear bud has no sound. The light will come on when charging and will blink 4 times when reset but will not come on when taken out of the case. No matter how many times I reset it there is no sound.

I can't tell you how many times I've left the case across the house only to have to walk back over because the earbud turned itself off before I had a chance to pair it with my phone. Biggest frustration with this product

First pair: Worked great, but left earbud broke while cleaning. Second pair: Straight up defective with a right earbud that crackles with every step and a left earbud that will not pair to anything no matter what I do. Great consistency, JBL! Update: Of COURSE you made the glue that holds these garbage earbuds of better quality than the sensors. Had to severely damage the outside just to get it open and fix what should have been checked in the factory. Another update: I gave up and ordered a third pair that is thankfully working well, though I think it was wired backwards? Now it's the left bud that does the pairing and the right one that follows through. Edit: Pair 3 is now crackling after less than a month of use.

You get what you pay for. The touch controls are difficult to use. A precise touch seems to be required but that is really hard when you can’t see what you are touching. After two days I can start and stop playback without taking the doggone thing out of my ear to see it. Still, I fail to get it right about 25% of the time. Controls with the feedback of a click you can sense are a lot more user friendly. Also, I find it very hard to remove the buds from the case. It is hard to get a firm enough grip with two fingers to overcome the pull of the magnet.

I prefer the touch controls, I use my fingers to grasp the earbyd in my ear so I tap it in the middle, button controls are bulkier and hurt to use in-ear

I've had my pair for a few weeks and used them pretty frequently. Thoughts: It's a regular occurrence that I'll accidentally trigger the eq mode changer and then have to fiddle with it for five minutes to get it to change again. A lot of the time I just give up and wait to accidentally trigger it again at a different time, lol. The touch controls are very inconsistent, it feels like I have to either stroke or really give them a prod to get them to register a tap. The earbuds sometimes cut out when I have my phone below my waist, like in my pants pocket, sometimes even a jacket pocket or just in my hand while I'm walking. I think it's only an issue if something is directly blocking the connection, because they connect up to a pretty good distance, enough to leave my laptop on the desk and go to the kitchen. They're pretty solid sound-wise. The eq changer is something I appreciate, even if the touch controls tend to make it an inconvenience. But I don't hate them! They do what I need them to, and they do it well.

I used to think that you couldn’t pause/start a song, but recently I’ve tried double tap on the right earbud and it pauses/resumes the media I’m hearing. Idk how 🤷🏻‍♂️

JLB Go Pop pairing BEST INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO EVER- I order both right and left replacement ear buds around 6 months ago and have tried a ridiculous amount how to videos on pairing them to each other. Nothing worked and I gave up a couple months ago, just using one at a time. Thoughr I’d try again today, I missed the surround sound, and I saw THIS VIDEO!!! - they synced to each other perfectly!! 🎉❤ and this video made it so easy to do. The tap x7 times thing doesn't work for me. The two earphones are disconnected from each other, and I want to restore them but the "quickly tap" doesn't work in any of them. They just stay in the cage and doesn't blink no matter how many times I "quickly tap" on any of them. I've unpaired them from my phone, and if I try to pai my phone shows me two independient jLab earbuds... Both charges well in the cage... Both pair with the phone (again, independient)... But only the right one sounds, the left one not. They worked perfectly today in the morning. I haven't dropped them or any thing like that. Actually I have been on a desk almost all day (I don't put the earphones in other place)... So I don't understand why they unpaired between them and much less HOW to fix it...

Hey I just received the JLab go air POP, from Amazon about five minutes ago, I didn't man handle them or be rough with them, I just opened the box, set them up and put on music and the left earbud didn't make any noise, and the touch controls on the left don't work.

Im afraid to say that short of you not knowing what you're doing, which I am safely assuming that you do, otherwise you wouldn't even of considered these, your earbuds are defective.. Mine did the same thing. If you have your receipt take it back and exchange. That's what I did and they work perfectly now. The right earbud would not connect or even stay on to connect.. Tried everything. It was just defective. Its something to do with the actual port inside of the charger ( the two little receiving ends you connect the earbuds too when they fall inside the charger..so, get an exchange and they'll work fine. You got a defective set.

The right earbud lights up when in the case and the moment I take it off the light goes off and it doesn't auto power on. I've tried manual resetting and it does blink four times after i tap it seven times but the moment i take it out of the case again it goes off

When it disconnects and you don't have the box to charge, they never turn back on again. It is necessary to put back in the cargo box. There is no way to turn them on.

So there's no way to manually turn them back on if they turn off? Only way is when I put back in the case then remove again. On the old design I used to just hold the bud down an it would turn on.

These are great and a cheaper option to most. But they don't last long with medium/heavy use. Mine only lasted year or so. When buying from Walmart get the all state plan, only 2 or 3 dollars, so it be cheap replacement

The most weirdest USB plug shape I've ever seen. When I first saw this I was like "what the heck am I suppose to do with this?!". This video helped and I didn't have to send an email to Customer Service. Still a very weird USB charger shape but at least I don't have to buy an adapter.

Does anyone know how to turn these back on after they’ve been unpaired and went to sleep without the case? Sometimes I will automatically have to toggle Bluetooth off and then they go sleep after a couple minutes, making me have to put them back in the case to wake them up to pair again. Hello! I have some fixes to some common problems If one headphone pairs but the other doesn’t, you probably left one out for too long, to fix this, put both in the case and tap the one that isn’t pairing 7 times, you should see it blink 3 times, then tap the other one 7 times and repair it. The purple light means that one isn’t working for whatever reason, for me this fixed the problem

They shouldn’t be dual connect to blue tooth, they should be synchronized. They shouldn’t both have to be individually connected to blue tooth just to charge. There is absolutely nothing simple about that.

@@muscar1.a Definitely try all of the troubleshooting methods first. I went through all of them to no avail and returned them, but I did see a video where a lady runs you through fixing a weak solder on them if you're a DIY trooper. JLabs posted a support email above so you could try that.

You should be able to see battery level in the Bluetooth settings. Under the connected. But it only shows up if they are connected.

Either one bud is barely heard or completely dead. Done the 7 press reset. But it is becoming more frequent. Is it worth registering for a new earbud? Or should I pay more for the newer versions or change the manufacturer completely...

i bought these recently and i love them so far. the only issue is the stuttering sound on my laptop sometimes. it doesn't always happen, but it only happens with my laptop and never my phone. -I just bought a brand new pair and fired them up. Everything about them seems to work OK, -_-except-_- the volume up control on the right earbud. It's strange because if I press and hold, it will advance the track, and turning the volume -_-down-_- on the -_-left-_- earbud by tapping works just fine. I can't find any type of touch/press on the right earbud that will make the volume go up--I've been sitting here tapping it, grazing it, pressing it, tapping it and lingering for a second--nothing I do works. if I touch and hold long enough then the track will advance. The volume hasn't budged (up) at all.- UPDATE: all these problems were occurring on my iphone. I disconnected the earbuds from the phone and connected them to my computer. when I did this, both up and down volume controls worked. Next, I reconnected them to my phone again, and now it works there, too! Hopefully someone else finds this useful. A suggestion: add chapters/timestamps for the different things covered in here, to act as a Table of Contents

I recently purchased JLab Go Air.. they are good sounding earbuds for the price.. I have also owned the JLab true air wireless and they where great! Just a little to big for my ears. So When I got these I was hoping it would be a perfect fit. Not at all they fall out, can't get them properly adjusted at all. Controls work at will. I have small ears but this is way to small. And yes I have watched all video on function settings.. and how to get the best fit.. I don't write reviews but this is one I had to write.. I have gone through it with this earbuds..lol

I just bought these and from the little I've heard so far the sound quality is good, but I can't figure out the touch controls. The left earbud works fine with taps lowering the volume, activating voice and skipping back a track, but the right earbud - even though it plays audio - doesn't respond to taps so the volume won't go up, won't pause or play and won't skip a track. I'm tapping both sides just the same it's just the right side that doesn't respond. I got them today so maybe I'm unlucky and got a defective one or I'm doing something wrong even though I did the disconnect and pairing process multiple times. At the moment I'm about to send them back for replacement or a refund. *Never mind, right after posting this I left them in the box to charge till the light went solid blue, did another disconnect, put the buds in the box and tap 7x times on both, pair the buds again, pair with phone again, and now both work. Great!

My POPs don't work nearly as well as my regular Go Airs. They are much harder to auto-connect once they come out of the case, I often have to put them back in the case a few times in order to auto-connect. I also don't understand this -- while outside the case, when my Go Airs power off after phone bluetoooth is turned off, I found that I can power them back on by holding the sensor for a few seconds. 1) Why isn't this listed as a function of the Go Air? 2) Why don't the POPs have the same function? And also... why are the POPs less expensive when they supposedly have longer battery life?

One of my earbuds isn't working (specifically the right one) and when I try to reset it nothing changes. It just stays pulsing blue whether in or out of the case. What do I do if the left ear bud doesn't turn solid white when trying to pair?

Go to Bluetooth settings on your device and turn on Bluetooth. The buds power on and power off when you disconnect/connect the Bluetooth.

How you do you turn these on after being idle and out of the case for a short time? Do you have yo put them back in the case and take them out again everytime you need to turn them on?

Its ok for podcasts, problem is the thing drains itself while in the case so if you go without using it for a month or two its basically empty which is incredibly annoying. Easy to do if you have multiple pairs of earbuds now.

Regarding the earbuds disconnected from each other....I have done this at least a dozen times. My buds are brand new and the left one will not connect to the other bud or my phone! Disappointed.

No, I had to return them for a new pair. Sad thing is, the first pair was brand new. Second pair worked great until it fell out of the case...MIA. SAD😦

If mine auto power down if I dont put them back in the case, I have to put them back in the case and take them out to turn them back on. I've tried other methods (Holding down button for 3-55 seconds for example) and nothing else works. Is there something I can do?

Worked for a bit, had a bunch or connection issues and charging issues, lost the right one can't find it so now the left one wont connect, the charging is crappy on the left one and the lights are glitching. These are fine but I'd suggest just getting some better quality ones for a bit more money. This also sucked because I have small ears and theses are comfortable but now I can't even use them.

Hi Rose. Have you seen out Go Air Sport model? The sports models have a built in hook that goes around your ear to better secure them into place.

just got earbuds and trying pair up to transmitter for tv viewing, all is connected properly and with extra tech help had them working just fine. I bought them. The quality of the music is really nice. But the Jlab settings for example changing eq or stop and play with double tap does not work well. sometimes just one sides takes orders or non of them. and very rarely they function everytime. I bought one day ago. I tried to reconnect them. But it still does not work well. Anyone can help me out ?
