You have no idea how helpful this comment is because I was just about to tell my friend that I was forced to break up with this same thing. I relate to you but I'm just on the other side of the relationship. Because of your comment I decided to not do this, like as I read it because on top of being mortally terrified of my parents finding out, I literally can't see her, its so extremely complicated & would take forever to explain & it makes me so unbelievably sad every time I think about our situation but I'm not going to just tell her we should not talk anymore bc frankly I'm not supposed to be talking to her at all. I A-D-O-R-E this little cinematographic gem! A simple and moving story. Good sense of humour. Two excellent and beautiful actress. Two girls who discover they're in love with each other. Great film, Ending was So Cute, Actresses were cute together & had chemistry. Well done This ranks in the Top 10 list..... except the guy running with the phone was a bit cheesy (his part of the acting imo) , Superb raw emotion from the grandpa wanting a bottle, Parents leaving on the birthday was not cool.. A Lot of emotions in this 20min's. These 2 need a mini series at least.....

Thanks! This is an important comment you make about the COVID stuff. Before Covid hit in 2019, we had a different film in the works. But then Covid hit and our film fell apart immediately. So in April of 2020, it looked like Covid was dying out. Things were opening up. So this film was designed to be shot outside using strict Covid protocols (Masks, testing, distance, etc.). That's why Riley is all alone in that big house. It's also why an important character is a homeless man... so we could shoot outside. Luckily, everything worked out and nobody on the cast/crew got Covid after the shoot. There was a lot of discussion on the shoot about what the future of movies would look like. Would characters wear masks on screen and make it part of the story? In fact, There is an American TV series called "A Million Little Things" and they actually have the characters on screen delivering their dialogue in masks! It works with the story. And they refer to social distancing and other Covid precautions. That story was written to include the new way of living. But at the time we shot this short film, we assumed that Covid was going away and it would date our film to have the characters address it. But there are a couple of shots in the film that give a glimpse of Covid. Ah really Sweet short, loved the actress who played Britta (Novi Alexander), and she seems like a interesting character going by her Instagram. Only acting job she's done too. The Actress who played Riley (Casey Schryer), seems to have done quite a bit more acting work and actually was in a episode of Nicole Kidman action show Lioness and has done a lot of low budget streaming mini series. Loved some of the shots of San Francisco and I liked the chemistry of both leads.

OML that was so fucking cute! 😄😭😊I absolutely loved the acting of her homeless grandpa especially because dammmnnnn he was on another level; and the girls their acting got better and better each and every time! The more emotional scenes came, the more natural it became! It sounded a little robotic from when she first saw her friend, but as it kept going it improved! Their kiss scene and when they were flying the kite was beautiful! I loved this so much♥♥♥ thank you for making this and props to everyone involved! You are all are so amazing and talented! 😇🥰
