Why didn't you upload the document into the builder and turn into a pdf and then put fillable boxes on it? is there a pro to rebuilding it?

have you ran into issues with the signature boxes moving around the page depending on what size screen you use? My contracts come through with the signature box coving the middle of the paragraph but that's not what it looks like on my side at all. I'm struggling to find what I'm doing wrong.

I have brought this up to GHL and have not heard back yet. Ideally an update will make the signature box "Stick" to the grid space its in. As of now I do trial and error of where the right place to leave the boxes is. Usually above where it is supposed to be. My theory is the document gets "compressed" and the signatures are technically stuck to their spot but the rest of the doc moves. Knowing that GHL is aware of it, I imagine a fix is in the works.

So GHL has gotten back to me. It is a problem with the page breaks that are there by default. Im going to be testing manually adding in page breaks in the appropriate sections to see if it fixes the problem.

If you enter in your own page breaks, on the document, it does way less shifting when it is in use. Might have to adjust the signature boxes slightly but not drastically. Still hoping the next update they do allows the box to actually stick to where it is placed.@@rmblocker

Nice Video. Two things that I would like to add. Maybe set an initial(s) option just like signature. Also do you know if there is a way to set a date field to only be completed when the document is signed/initialed by that person. Basically could have a Date Field beside the signature field that is completed with the date of that particular signature/initial is completed. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback! At this time not exactly. Since I posted the video there has been an update to the contracts builder though that allows you to add a text block (like the signature block) that is required by the assigned person to fill out. So you can add this next to the signature block, have it say "date required" or something similar and have the signer also fill that in. Not perfect but its what we have added to ours. This currently has the same issue as the signature block, so it will not stick to where you place it in the document so you have to adjust it with a little bit of trial and error.

@JustHighLevel Yes very frustrating on the boxes not sticking in place. Can they add a Date picker field or at least have a text field that is formatted as a date?

Great tutorial! Once the contract is signed, does the client and sender get a copy in pdf?

Yes, once it is signed by both parties then both parties get a copy!
