I remember when this was wheeled out to the public for the first time, only the front was visible but it was clear to 12 year old me that the Soviet Union was finished - they had nothing even close to that level of tech. 👍

Finished? Not true. All 16 intelligence agencies agreed. The Russians hacked into our 2016 election stealing the win from Hillary. When it was Seth Rich who downloaded the e-mails on a flash card and sent them to WikiLeaks. So ..one of those 3 letter agencies killed him for it. And blamed it on Russia

The computer is making constant adjustments to the movable surfaces on the wings. Just like the F117 they couldn't fly without computers.

The design, actually is German and not in the 80's. We found a nice aircraft to improve in Germany as the WWII finished. Also we brought a lot scientist and put them in NASA. They helped a lot developing rockets.

It's a good thing they don't make these any more, since they probably don't have EICAS (neither does the 737 MAX) and it has four engines. It is dangerous, uses too much fuel, and Airbus is better than Northrop, so retire it!
