this was one of the most brilliant bands ever that just never got the recognition they deserved and now theyve broken up

Is it just me or does this album feel like the first time we've heard Jason sing? Especially with Close the Distance. That song is fucking incredible, I've never heard the band put so much into a song before, and god damn I just wish I could turn the volume up louder.

As a married man I get where Lancaster is coming from wanting to settle down with his wife, however if he really wants to "make it" and match his talent with success, he needs to stick with the right band. Every time a band breaks up, you lose fans that won't follow you to the next project out of loss of interest. Fact. I don't think Go Radio ever achieved what the original Mayday Parade did in terms of music quality. With that said, he's a phenomenal singer and I hope he figures out what makes him happy. But he's a superstar waiting to happen with his voice and writing ability.
@tmlguy2411 жыл бұрын
I think the idea of "Making it" right now for him is too continue making music, having people enjoy it and staying at home with his wife... As a fan of him that's I have a lot of respect for that
@Antimedal9 жыл бұрын
+Good Apollo I disagree in my opinion go radio is better then mayday parade was. Go Radio just wasn't as well known. But there are a lot of people who will listen to anything Jason Lancaster writes or plays. Because he's a great singer, piano player, and guitar player.
@jaysonbechayda17437 жыл бұрын
Good Apollo I think the main reason of him leaving MP is that he thought that he is not appreciated in the band. Remember Miserable at best?

While I'd agree mayday was the more consistently great band, songs like I won't lie, go to hell, forever my father and goodnight moon made the formation of go radio more than worth it. I also love his solo song Adam, I will follow him wherever he goes because of his talent and consistency

Lyrics on😂 I Won't Lie- Go Radio Four in the morning and I'm sober walking through the rain It doesn't matter where I'm going everywhere's the same Cold dark room I've put myself into You were a window to a world that I could never know And asked for every piece of me and so I let you go Way too soon Now I'm back to my cold dark room If I could take it all back I could make it all right You could be the best part of my life I can tell you all night that I wanna be The man that I'm supposed to be That... I won't lie I've waited a million hours just to say that I will die if you leave me You are the way my heart beats And you are the words my tongue speaks And I will die if you leave me I know you've heard a thousand words that took your breath away A million melodies that never got the notes to say What they mean I promised you everything If I could take it all back I could make it all right You could be the best part of my life I can tell you all night that I wanna be The man I'm supposed to be That... I won't lie I've waited a million hours just to say that I will die if you leave me You are the way my heart beats And you are the words my tongue speaks And I will die if you leave me This is me when my world stops turning Heart stops while I notice everything is falling apart This is me when my lungs start burning To say what I mean when I know that I could but I won't Tell me things that'll break the silence I swear I can hear every heart beat in this place I wanna see the hope, I wanna feel the love, I wanna hear what you say when I say I won't lie I've waited a million hours just to say that I will die if you leave me You are the way my heart beats And you are the words my tongue speaks And I will die if you leave me (Well please don't ever leave)

Xavier Mclean it reminds me of something else too I just can’t place it. it’s probably a pretty common way to start a song though.
