centering pin in the nose of it, used with G-Lock wide gap is the way (will go through not near as many baits). weightless or free rig if you need weight

I like Jimi's option, because the bass where I fish are so zeroed in on shad right now, they hardly see anything else.

Give it a shot and let me know! I had a fishing trip recently where the fish in this creek would only eat this and then an alabama rig with 3 inch swimbaits. I threw the kitchen sink at them too!

Will do. As a big believer in spoon fishing in the fall, you wouldn't believe the 3+ largemouth I've caught swimming a 2" Cotton Cordell spoon (going up a size with the treble hook).@@TheFishingCoach

I thought about that bait with a hover rig jig but it’s solid section through the middle of the bait is pretty thin. The rest being ribbed. Matt says the solid surface area provides the resistance that causes the bait to dart. Id like to see an underwater video showing every bait yall throw on the H.R. I want to see the action of the baits so i can decide which ones i like best because i cant buy 50 bags of plastics that if they are not good for the technique I might never use them.

We are working on getting more baits with underwater footage. My first video on the hover rig that I put out in March has footage of this bait. It glides a lot more then you would think even with the ribbed action. Go check the video out. It is on the channel. There is a lot of good footage on it. 👍🏽 - Jimi.

I really enjoy these videos. I like hearing the different perspectives from the different anglers. And Kyle, I used your code just this week. Thank you!

The biggest fish in the lake are eating threadfin that are barely an inch here. They spit up dozens of them every jump. I catch some giants on little baits all fall. 1/4 oz lipless and smaller., little Cleo spoons, grubs, little swim baits, etc… I have even changed out the hooks on panfish cranks to bigger trebles that can handle bigger bass and crushed them. Small in fall is good advice.

Nice! I love the 1/4 oz lipless. Good tip with using the panfish cranks! - Jimi

Hello US brother. Have you tried bellows gill as weightless rig? If you tried it, what was the result?

Just caught a 4 on the 2.8” bellows gill jimi 🤘🏽. I’ll add a couple I’ve caught bigs on in Texas when they are chasing the tiny bait, 1/16th oz flashback mini chatterbait with a 2 inch eurotackle b vibe and a 1.5” rapala ultralight crank. Got an 8.2 on the ultralight crank last November, hopefully I can do it again!

Learned over the years, some bass won't eat big baits, most bass won't turn down small baits. Like all creatures, if you put a easy meal in front of them they will eat it.
