Theory: so basically all of the animatronics we have seen so far came from this toy company run by Martin and Arthur called MeA Harmony Toys that specializes in making toys and animatronics some have creepy xenomorph like mouth and can transform into monsters like Banzo and the ice cream man while some are innocent but haunted like the Henry puppet and also Martin killed Arthur's family including his own son (which he also abused) to make some of these toys and animatronics and he probably did this with other people and now the people he has killed are seeking revenge on Martin. And thats how i think the story is for the Harmony&Horror tapes tell me if i have got anything right or wrong or if i left some important plot holes Battington.

Story so far, at least from my pov: Martin and Arthur are business partners in a toy company they made together. Martin was an abusive father, and this made Arthur uncomfortable. Martin begins work on weird animatronic killer cyborgs, by killing his dog, Banzo, and turning it into the "Stitchbuddy" seen in this video. After Arthur gets attacked, he confronts Gloria, Martin's wife to get her and their children to leave, and then Martin. After realizing what happened, Martin kills Gloria, and then his children, after they annoy him. He then shoots Arthur, and turns them all into the weird cyborgs, with Gloria becoming the long-necked lady, Arthur becoming the IceCream Man, His young son becoming Henry the puppet, the mass-produced toy, and his young daughter, Macy, becoming Sofia, the singing puppet with the xenomorph mouth, who then went on to kill Martin, and depending on your choice, either kills the person recording, or has her soul set free. (Ill edit this more once I remember some of the character names.)

I will go further in depth in the Q/A but basically I like to think long and hard about what scares me, I then give that fear a face, and put it in a scenario that scares me even more. Something off setting, something that feels out of place. And I create an advertisement out of it or a video or a show. I watch a lot of scary videos for reference and I analyze what about it made me scared. Lighting is important, sounds are important, settings are important. You can have no monster and still scare someone with an ominous room. It’s all about psychology terror
