When goalies do it intentionally, no question about it, they should get a double minor - delay of game and unsportsmanlike conduct.

You forgot Igor Murin :D. That guy literally dislodged his net little bit, but he did It in OT, referee did not notice and game continued, but when the opposite team scored what supposed to be game winning goal, he just came up to referee and he waved that goal off

It's one thing to shove the goal out of frustration when you think you've gotten a bad call, but to INTENTIONALLY dislodge it for the sake of avoiding a play or decision is just LAME! Bad show, guys!

I don't know any stats in regards to a 2 on 0 breakaway, but the success ratio must be fairly high. I believe it would be a much higher percentage than the success ratio for a penalty shot. The announcers in the clip at 1:24 seem to believe "they could call a delay of game penalty." Seems to me a delay of game penalty is not enough, nor is a penalty shot. Anyone know what happened in this instance? Great video Jens TYVM.

There is a situation in the NHL where a goal can be allowed on a dislodged net, but I can't remember the details off the top of my head.

I just saw the Vancouver Canucks goalie do this during the March 19th, 2023 game. It wasn't as obvious, but when I watched it I was like huh... they were about to score then that goalie slid up against the side of the net on one side then literally pushed his other leg back on the other side and the net came out. I was like that guy did that on purpose and no one said anything...is this a tactic? So that's why I'm here watching this video lol 😅
