I agree. But as observed the goats look well-taken care of...they look clean, no feces on the floor or cages etc. Compared to other factories in the U.S, this farm looks more humane. I am not supporting captivity. But if any animals are captive, at least ensure a decent quality of life e.g. No violence, forced impregnation or unhygienic living environment...

These are not really ideal conditions for goats, or any animal for that matter. While their stalls may be clean, they are much too small. There’s is nothing to stimulate the animals, nothing to climb or eat or play with. Goats need about 20 square metres per goat to be happy. They spend their time exploring and foraging. These conditions do not make for happy goats.

too bad that there are so many goats. Looks obviously alot better than the meat industry, but still quite crowded. We don't put humans in cages (at least we don't find it normal) this still doesn't look very friendly to me

I do not want to be that person... but ya. For cows to produce milk, the will forcefully pregnant them so that they can give birth and produce milk, Then the young are taken away for food(male) or just like them(female).. I hope it will not be this way for the goats though....

Ya, I see your viewpoint. Unfortunately in Singapore, there isn't enough attention to improving welfare in farms because the agricultural industry is so small, unlike in Europe, where the European Commission at least has standards for sustainable farming practices and animal welfare in EU farms.

Lily Potter I get what you are talking abt but we have limited land space unlike other bigger countries and more people migrating increases the population. We have barely enough space for the humans here. So I guess they had to sacrifice some space. And controlling the amount of goats is kinda cruel. Its better than some other farms, thats for sure.
