Awesome vid. I live in Hawaii and don’t have ac so my windows are always open. Being close the the beach I think the moisture is too much for the ps5. I dissembled it and cleaned everything but found salt residue because of the sea breeze. Any ideas what I should do? Keep getting an overheating error. Thx

It does not operate above the cpu at 85 Celsius. When I would play Elden ring it occasionally shut itself off from heat. Im guessing with open windows in hawaii you are pushing its resting temp. My house was kept at 73 and Id suspect if my house was any warmer it could potentially lead to the ps5 overheating

I am in Tennessee we have extremely hot summers with high humidity. I definitely have to make sure to keep devices like the ps5 in AC

if u bring salted air into ur ps5 then u can do nothing but throw it in to the thrash. you cann not fix that. Next time better take more care. Everybody know that the salt water air is agressive to electronic devices.

That is a good question. We know how bad salt water vapor can be for cars but I had not considered how it might affect game consoles since I am not close to the ocean. If the liquid metal is healthy and you've confirmed that the fan works and unit is clean then it is possible you have some corrosion damage. We can't rule out a different possibility like a bad temperature sensor but if I come across anything that might be useful in your situation, I'll post an update here.
