So i'm confused... You said the story doesnt progress in multiplayer multiplayer but im playing with my friend and it does for both of us. Our stories are both at the same level of progression and before i bought the game i read online and everywhere said that was the case, that's why we decided to co-op. I haven't ran into any of the issues you talked about either, it's so far been a flawless co-oping experience.

hey, since you're one of the few youtubers who has ever talked about GE, I have a (actually long) question. I used to play GEB on PSP like a decade ago, and it was one of my favorite PSP games; then I dropped it, because I couldn't get past a point and got a PS3. ofc I started playing the shit out of it and quickly forgot about God Eater. fast forward to 2022: I played Code Vein and absolutely loved it... and not because was the "Dark Souls anime" wet dream people always seemed to talk about back in the day, but because of its amazing storytelling and characters. I always wanted a Souls-like game with much more deepened plot and synopsis instead of just tons of lore bits scattered across the game, and Code Vein just nailed at best this aspect. so, when I discovered the game story was part of the God Eater universe, I immediately wanted to get my hands on it back again (I always wanted to do it, but never did). I even buyed a cheap, used copy of GE2 to play Resurrection on my PS4, but ofc the code for downloading it was already redemeed. so my question is: do I miss something if instead of GER, I just replay Burst on my PSP? (yes, it's still working to this day!) ofc it won't be the best aged game of the all times and I'll miss the improvements of Resurrection (both gameplay and story-wise), but if it's just this it won't be a huge deal for me. however I want to know the opinion of someone who has played both. thanks in advance!

There's a final arc added in resurrection. It's not vital to understanding the story for future games but it is a nice tie up for the game. Resurrection was written after GE2RB was complete so you won't miss anything major.

I actually started by the opposite. I started by "Code Vein". And here's one aspect I found it to be superior to "God Eater". The choice between restoration and permanent death. You see, I wasn't satisfied in watching my character simply fulfilling her objectives, so I did somewhat of a roleplay through the use of her visual. Her shifting visual was meant to represent her emotional and psychological state through out the game in order to tell a story. The story was that of a psychological individual who constantly found herself trying to rationalize the world around her. To find a pattern that allowed her to fit in the world's chaos. Her Queen like powers helped her do just that. But of course, there was the responsibility and temptations, given form through the question "Despite the sob story, can they really be forgiven ? Maybe there were alternatives.". Her story is going to be quite the contrast against my Commander Sherpard. Because whereas Dhalia (Code Vein character) is going to have a humble ending, my Sherpard's ending was one of hunger and ambition, under the justification that it was better to gamble with destiny than to render her sacrifices worthless, for her plans were meant for progress.

am I the only one who never bothered to upgrade the shield till the later stages of the game when they played this game the first time? or is it just me...
