Yeah I do think you missed a lot of info on god eater's story. There's a section in the terminal where you do upgrades that detail about characters, lore and more game mechanics. I can't blame you if you didn't read them though, it's a lot to take in at first.

If there's something in the story that's so important that made you comment on this video, and it's hidden in a terminal entry somewhere, the devs messed up. If not, well I'm not a hardcore fan and this is not a story/analysis video. I'm sure there are better people to cover that stuff than me.

One of my favorite franchise and here's my opinion.. Graphics = mid just because it's a port from a handheld game.. Gameplay = superb, smooth and fast.. Story = it's an anime.. Controls = needs a bit of a learning curve but really manageable once you get the hang of it..

I agree with your conclusion it is a good game, but difficulty is somewhat wonky and the pace is awful!

If you're willing to grind for the right weapon, learn it, and stop using the weapon type you've used for the whole game just for that one mission, sure. Or use a gun with overpowered bullets I guess.

Dude i don't use overpowered bullet with that golden monkey i only use long blade god arc and yes i use overpowered bullet on different aragami just like alda nova or pita

@@kinommk6881 That's not the point. My point is learning and grinding for another weapon just for one mission isn't worth it. For a game that lets you choose a weapon you want to use that works for the whole game only for one mission to stop your progress because your weapon suddenly sucks now, it doesn't feel right. Also, if using a gun with a certain bullet lets you beat everything, why use anything else?

@@kinommk6881 What if I don't like how those weapons feel? I get that certain weapons are better for certain aragami, but that monkey fight is just badly balanced. The devs could've made the monkeys challenging but not straight up impossible for the less optimal weapons like the one handed sword I used. Instead, the fight NEEDS you to have those certain weapons to beat it, making players who prefer to use something else to grind for a weapon that they don't even like using. Isn't the point of having multiple weapon types to let players pick what they like and stick to it?
