In God's eyes, there is nothing good or righteous about mankind. We just don't cut it. We're very flawed and crude. A man's faith and trust is the only offering acceptable to God as righteous. Good deeds come and go like good weather. Tested faith is like hard currency in the hand. God chose faith as pre-eminent in mankind. It's more workable and emphasises relationship which is his intended purpose! Like any marriage, not everyone is faithful and there are degrees of being faithful. The nature of faith, like anything of value, is that it has to be tested and proven. Abraham was therefore accredited with righteousness because he had passed the test of faith. Therefore a relationship between God and his spiritual descendants came into existence. In return, God showing his faithfulness and love, sacrificed his son in actuality to redeem Abraham's spiritual descendants through his only son Jesus Christ. This is an extremely emotional and poignant moment for God. Everyone must understand sin can only be reconciled this way and can only be scrubbed out this way. Sin brings death. Jesus Christ is the only way. You must join the dots. Capiche?

@@jezebelvibes I was raised in a moderate version of Christianity In Canadian United Church. Wasn't burdened with a whole lot of hell fear. I left the church as a teenager but still carried some residual sentimentality for the Bible. But then in late 20's I read the Bible for myself. When I read the passage below it was as if the 'scales fell from my eyes'. I suddenly realized the Bible was written by power-obsessed men and not some merciful God. After a military victory against the Midianites Moses is angry with his generals for returning with too many prisoners. 17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. 18 But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves. That's pretty much where I ended up too, having read the bible as a teenager and seeing the glaring inconsistencies and cruelties in the book. For the next 40-odd years I identified as Pagan (mainly for reasons of ecology and environmentalism) but now refer to Spirit or Source, and no, I don't fully understand how the Universe works and I'm ok with that. The fault, in my view, is with the authors of the various ''holy'' books, and those who decided to use their writings as the ultimate means of controlling people. Whatever Source may be, I am certain that ''God'' had very little to do with the atrocities committed by a bunch of ignorant Bronze Age or Iron Age tribes, all residing in a relatively small area of the Middle East. Whatever they did, thought or said is irrelevant and should in no way be taken seriously.

How anyone can say God is love but also says "you're NOTHING without God, you don't even deserve the air you breathe. You are worthless and undeserving of God's love" but if you kiss his ass he'll "love" you
@skyeprophet3564
@skyeprophet3564 Жыл бұрын
How unqualified. The Christian claim about God is that he is the author of all creation. So if he is, the very molecules of which you are composed are from God. What will you do without God? will you sustain your own life beyond the grave? It might be true that you don't even deserve the air you breathe, but God patiently provides you with air anyway. Doesn't sound like an evil and malicious God to me. It might be true that you are worthless and undeserving of God's love, but he chooses to send his own son to die for you on a cross. Doesn't sound like an evil and malicious God to me. You can live in your own self denial, justifying yourself and making out that "I don't deserve to go to Hell" but if you want to live apart from the God who gave you life, don't you even think you owe him anything for that existence. Sounds like a pretty entitled attitude to me. God doesn't make you "kiss his ass" in fact if you don't want to, you don't have to. I don't see you kissing his ass, though you exist and are enjoying a human life despite the wrong things you do. Oh, are you somehow perfect all of a sudden? Yes, I am generally a good person I hear you say. So because you think you are a good person, God should excuse all the bad things you do? Ok, God will allow you to believe that if you want to. He's not going to strike you down with a lightning bolt or anything like that. He will just patiently hold the door to his household open for you while your heart beats and while you draw breath hoping against hope that you will accept the smallest bit of humility and acknowledge your need for him. Patiently he will call to you through one person and then another, even though you will ignore his calls. Doesn't sound like an evil and malicious God to me. I think you have a poor perspective on God.

useing mathematics (it's one of the 4 branches of science) there is a good argument with evidence I can use to prove God exist. There are Physicist that have done math to show the likely hood of our universe happening "by chance" and they counted every variable for it. One stated that for life to come from nothing (which violates the biological law that life can only come from other life), nothing being molecules accidently arranged them selves to make the first DNA to mindless form into the first living cell is comparable to a tornado going into a scrap metal yard and building a passenger airplane by chance. The math showed there is a 10^40,000 in 1 Chance of that happening though natural process. To put that into perspective, if you could speak 32 Zeros in 6 seconds it would take you 4 hours to say that whole number. And it would take about 38 pieces of paper to write out the full number as well. I can't believe something that has that small of a number behind it. It would be illogical for me to believe that the universe "accidentally" was created from a huge unorganized explosion (Big bang theory, nothing created everything) made laws of physics that line up for life to exist in the first place. (Protons neutrons and electrons having the ability to even combine together to make Anything in the universe including life forms, and there's no logic or thought behind something so complect and complicated happended by a mere 10^40'000 in one chance. So by the creation of the universe it's self, and seeing how wonderful and good it was created, It would be more illogical to Believe nothing caused it. In a way, believing something like that is it own fairy tail. It's just more intellectual.

Thinking back at what I was taught, it's amazing how many excuses I accepted for God. Some of the reasons include (1) we cant judge God because we dont have enough information/we cant see the full picture, (2) it's ok for God to be prideful because he actually is the best, its only wrong for humans because we're not God, (3) things changed because of Jesus and the New Testament, so we dont really need to worry about the actions of the OG God (4) God knows what is best for us better than we do, so who are we to say that what seems bad to us might actually be helping us grow, (5) God had to do things this way because it was the only way for humans to have free will, (6) everything that happens to us doesnt really matter because God created us and without him we wouldnt even be here in the first place so how can we complain, (7) God and sin can't mix, by definition, so there's really no way for him to let people who rebel against him into heaven. And the list goes on

There is NO DIFFERENCE for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. That is why God sent His Son to die for you and me. He took our sins upon Himself, and God made Him the sin offering for us. Being gay is not your problem, it is the fact that you are condemned already from your sinful nature. Fornication, adultery, lustfulness, being a paedophile, etc. all sexual sins, are just the same as being a practising homosexual, so don't let that put you off Christianity. Christ died FOR YOU. Your reasoning is so flawed. Man needs laws because man is rebellious and ignorant. Wayward man loves to craft false idols. Fallen humanity does stupid things. In fact, we have all kinds of laws today to prevent people from doing stupid things. I imagine you've watched many glorious sunsets, or you've looked up at the myriads of stars in the sky, and failed to acknowledge that God made it all, attributing it all to mere time and chance. All the sayings in the bible purported to be God speaking sounds to me like many different gods speaking 'cause it's so controversial. E.g the law ' though shall not kill ' but there's so much violence in the bible caused by his heroic kings and mighty soldiers killing women and children including pregnant women, all at his command. Then He preaches love, kindness, mercy, forgiveness etc.

I'm sorry but Kristi is either angry about something she discovered, shocked by it, disappointed, or incapable of accepting it. Her videos rely upon false translations of scripture. She routinely denies taking the responsibility to investigate properly, offering the excuse that things should be simple. Unfortunately, they're not, and this because of the enemy, who consistently twists scripture (offering the world modern translations) in order to discredit it. No contradictions exist in the original text. I don't really have the time to go through and correct Kristi on every video, but I will drop in occasionally to cover what needs covering. Concentrate of the KJV (1611 if necessary, realizing that in one two places better translated words could be employed), and use Bible Dictionaries or Concordances. There's a difference between us and God, we have a different standard. Christianity is the only religion where God loved you enough to come down to this wrenched Earth (Jesus) and lived a perfect sinless life and died on the cross for our sins so instead of us having to pay a punishment four our sins, we can ask God for forgiveness of our sins and go to heaven. Also something else the video did not mention, in Christianity salvation is not earned, it is given as a gift. Titus 3:5 (KJV) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us. God gives us mercy when we ask for it, God paid for our sin debt that separates us from him and heaven Romans 6:23 (KJV) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 10:10 (KJV) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:13 (KJV) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. If you say this prayer in your heart "Lord Jesus, I know I'm a sinner and I don't deserve heaven. You died and rose from the dead for me. Please forgive me for my sins and take me to heaven when I die. thank you! AMEN. You turn become a Christan and become one of God's children and have everlasting life. Because God loved us first and showed it we love him as a result. That's how someone becomes a Christian. That's the main difference between Christianity from Judaism and Islam.

I had a friend a few years ago who asked me what I thought "love" meant. With her word choice on phrasing her question, I told her my personal definition in a brief description. I said it's when you feel unconditional compassion and care for someone or something that means a lot to you. She then outright tells me that I was completely wrong with this tone as if I'd just described torture to her. Then she describes that only love for God and God's love for us is what love truly means and any other definition wasn't true. Basically, if God isn't involved, then it's not love. She's a cult-level Christian, so I wasn't too surprised with her response. If anything, more annoyed that my answer was invalidated when she asked for it. I think she was only looking for a chance to talk about religion since she's the type that won't even blink if she thought it'd be a sin! I'm not in contact with her anymore, but I so wish I could've rebutted her with this video. lol

The bibles definition of love for God is to obey the commandments - 1 john5:3 - how bland a way of showing love is that ? When I love someone I have a deep respect and sympathy and caring affection for them - that’s my idea of love and when I feel love from someone I should feel the same in return not just to obey the rules I give them and how are we to really love a being who doesn’t reveal themselves personally to you anyways ? Whom you’ve never met and only know about based on some ancient book ? It’s like having a father who was just responsible for giving birth to you and left when you were born and your mother just tells you about him and what he was like - do you love him for just being your father ? No? Because he wasn’t there and didn’t care or show you live when you were growing up - so then isn’t it the same with God - how can you love something /someone you’ve never felt or heard apart from in the writings of some book written thousands of years ago which you can’t even be sure is true ?

As for vengeance well there is those who love his creation but those who rule us are stuck here and can't leave and they hate that we can . They invert everything of God . I grew up going to church every time the doors were opened. I knew all the stories like Noah and the Ark. But it wasn't until my early 20s, when I decided I wanted to read the Bible front to back so I would know what was/wasn't in there, that I started seeing things as they actually were. When I got to the part about Noah it was the first time that it had really, truly occurred to me how horrendous this was. And that was the beginning of me going from a firm believer to being agnostic, leaning atheist. I never did finish reading after that. It made me too sad and too angry. It took me a bit to get to the point where I realized that these were just stories and not things that actually happened and that there really was no god. useing mathematics (it's one of the 4 branches of science) there is a good argument with evidence I can use to prove God exist.

Seriously, though, *what makes you religious people so ARROGANT that you are all are so convinced that you couldn't be fooled by a multi-millennia old Uber-Angel?* In "The Usual Suspects" there's the line, "the greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't exist", but, IF he did exist, *then what greater trick than to convince the world to worship him as "god", and build temples, synagogues, cathedrals and mosques to his “glory”???* I've known some pretty sick, evil, but intelligent people, and they get a kick out of telling others what they are, and others still liking them. The abrahamic gods are portrayed as the most evil characters and you STILL claim to believe that they are the origin of all that is good, that they *personify good,* maybe it's time for you to take a much closer look at the bible? Some of the Gnostics go further, and may have got it right, when they said that the creator of this Universe was an idiot god!

@@checkfactschecking No. I'm saying modern translations cannot be trusted. Try to remember. Unless you access the original Hebrew text, you're at the mercy of translators. Fortunately, original Hebrew renditions do still exist. They're called Interlinear Bibles, and they offer the original languages alongside the modern translations. Another way to do this: E-Sword, a free electronic Bible application which allows you to compare different translations of scripture, including the KJV from 1611, and also a KJV with concordance numbers referring to bible dictionaries which offer several meanings for many words. Hundreds of translations can be downloaded as modules. It is a great source of information.

When Christians get backed into a corner, they love to pull out the "God can do whatever He wants because He's God" card, but that means He could save every man woman and child without killing His son and a whole bunch of innocent animals. Therefore, the God of the Bible must have really wanted to kill his son and a whole bunch of innocent animals. Appalling.

You don't get it. If you don't trust and have faith in your spouse, your marriage is ended. If you don't have faith in your surgeon, the procedure is cancelled. If your child rejects you as a parent, you've lost that sacred connection. You must join the dots. Capiche?

I had a mentor who has a masters of divinity and could go to the Greek and Hebrew when we wanted to try to examine, as close as we possibly can, what the Bible books actually say. He taught me to ask three questions when I or someone else said, "The Bible says...." 1: What does it say? What do the words actually mean? 2: What does it mean? Who wrote it to whom, and why? 3: Then you can take the step to ask "What does it mean to me?" It took years to build my faith in God and the Bible. The more I studied the Bible and comparative religions, the more questions I had. It took a long time to deconstruct my believe in God and the Bible. None of what you put forward in your videos changed my mind about my beliefs, but it does help that you, along with many other Christian deconstructionists have been on the same journey I have. I was around 5 years old when I first started questioning God's "lovingness." I was a child in the 1950s and it was common during that time for parents to "shame" their kids if they did not want to eat their meals. The common phrase was "there are STARVING children in -Africa, India etc etc that would LOVE to eat that food that YOU are WASTING !" That NEVER phased my sibblings or any other kids that I knew but in my case, I'd walk around feeling guilty all day because I still did NOT want to eat the foods that I didn't like. But one day I also started thinking "what's WRONG with this picture?! What did I DO to be born as a middle class white child in suburban USA , INSTEAD of a starving kid in one of the 3rd world countries!? WHAT makes ME so much BETTER that I have abundance while THEY do not!? And even at age 5 there was NO answer that would indicate that "God" was an all LOVING or even a FAIR deity!

This is a really good perspective when reading and trying to understand the bible. If one only reads 1 Corinthians 13 by itself, you get this 'Macro' picture on love and we can get teary eyed and emotional. When you read these passages in relation to the bible as Kristi is pointing out. You get a 'Panorama' view of the meaning, and another picture emerges. The biblical God is not so loving after all. I was also one day told to always blame myself and that it’s always going to be my fault. I grew up in church, and found the truth when I tried to get serious about getting my life right. I was told how bad and unworthy I was and believed it even while trying to do better than yesterday. I am not perfect and even all the times I admitted it and was truly sorry for mistakes. I felt it was worthless and God never forgave me even when I asked. It didn’t work out the way I expected so I walked away years ago and now I am glad I found your channel to break me free from that slavery and bondage to find true freedom! I have to create my own inner peace and love myself because God doesn’t love me. I am not one of his favorites and it sucks. But I am teaching myself to deal with it and be independent. My love I give myself makes up for his lack. And Thanks! Peace be to you! ❤

Go and read 2 Samuel 12:15, instead. And 2 Samuel 24:1. Then... relocate, them, up, your... posterior. If you want. Also, how - how oh how oh how - did sin, FIRST, become, even CONCEIVABLE of, in the angel, realm? Or even dissatisfaction. And if this was to 'find iniquity' in the heart of Satan, by the one who MADE THAT VERY heart... Then can we... be left, out, of it, thanks? Especially if two semi ignorant people, can 'sabotage' us, by one barely considered action, in Eden? Before they knew good from bad... before they knew stakes... to others. And before they even knew, that vaunted Romans 1:20... had... Failed, in heaven, itself. Or whatever previous version of it, existed, there, initially. We are made 'a little lower than the angels' indeed. Let's hope - saner... then?@@HolySpiritIsSatanOfSinDethHell

The God of the Bible reflects the behavior of a Bronze-age tribal Chieftan: He demands to be worshipped, all must bow before him, he quickly angers at any show of disobedience, he inflicts punishments on any who question him. He is unaccountable to anyone. That Biblical God is the product of a primitive, unsophisticated ancient tribe.

What is the worth, value, and importance of the BIBLE to imperfect, suffering, and dying human beings, is it the Word of God and source of Truths or just a worthless book of lies, myths, fictions, fantasies, and fairy tales? ANSWER - The BIBLE simply reveals and exposes that - 1. the Creator is the True and Sovereign God as written in Matthew 22: 37 and John 17: 3 2. Jesus Christ is the One given by the Creator all authority in heaven and on earth as written in Matthew 28: 18 3. Satan the Devil is a Liar, the Father of Lies and Murderer of Human beings as written in John 8: 44 Who on earth are the SLAVES and SERVANTS of Satan the Devil? ANSWER - The Bible simply exposes that all Jehovah's Witnesses, SDAs, Mormons, Baptists, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Atheists, Agnostics, Evolutionists, and fanatics of all kinds of Religions who trick and deceive their own families, friends, and neighbors to mock, oppose, and defy what were written in Matthew 22: 37 and John 17: 3 are obviously NOT the worshippers of the Creator but Satan the Devil's servants and slaves on earth who don't respect and value their own lives, dignities, and existence.... not bothered at all and just don't care even if their Satanic hatred, mockeries, opposition, and defiance of the Creator's Will and Sovereignty bring and cause their own dishonor, disgrace, downfall and ETERNAL DEATHS, just worthless and useless dusts on earth forever. Who on earth are the FALSE TEACHERS and ENEMIES of JESUS CHRIST? ANSWER - The Bible simply exposes that all Jehovah's Witnesses, SDAs, Mormons, Baptists, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Atheists, Agnostics, Evolutionists, and fanatics of all kinds of Religions who trick and deceive their own families, friends, and neighbors to reject what were written in Ecclesiastes 3: 19, 20 and 9: 5, 6 that all human beings have no immortal souls and will just become worthless and useless dusts on earth after their deaths just like the animals and believe instead their lies, falsehoods, and Unbiblical teachings and doctrines about "immortality of the souls or the heaven and hellfire doctrine", "Armageddon", "Trinity", "rapture", and "reincarnation" are obviously the liars, deceivers, FALSE TEACHERS and ENEMIES of JESUS CHRIST on earth who don't respect and value their own families, friends, and neighbors.... not bothered at all and just don't care even if their lies, deceptions, hypocrisies, cruelties, false teachings and doctrines hurt, offend, insult, humiliate, and degrade the lives and dignities of their own families, friends, and neighbors and cause their sufferings, pains, griefs, sickness, and DEATHS. Who on earth are the WORSHIPPERS of the CREATOR and FOLLOWERS of JESUS CHRIST? ANSWER - The Bible simply reveals that all lowly, ordinary, kind, and submissive persons on earth who submit to the authority of Jesus Christ and believe his teachings about the "Kingdom of God" and "Resurrection of the Dead" in obedience to what were written in Matthew 28: 18, Luke 4: 43, and John 11: 25, 26 are clearly the WORSHIPPERS of the CREATOR and FOLLOWERS of JESUS CHRIST on earth who are definitely bringing upon themselves the loving, kind, and merciful Creator's favor and reward of ETERNAL LIFE and existence without sufferings, pains, griefs, sickness, and death on a safe, secure, and peaceful earth without arrogant, cruel, and merciless persons, without liars, slanderers, hypocrites, deceivers, traitors, and murderers as written in Revelation 21: 3, 4, and 8. The Bible simply reveals that all human beings have no immortal souls and will just become worthless and useless dusts on earth after their deaths just like the animals as written in Ecclesiastes 3: 19, 20 and 9: 5, 6 but all the loving, kind, respectful, and submissive worshippers of the Creator and followers of Jesus Christ who died recently and thousands of years ago like Abel, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Job, Naomi, Ruth, King David, Mary, Martha, Lazarus, and many others will not remain as worthless and useless dusts on earth forever, instead, in the Creator's own right time and as written in John 11: 25, 26, Jesus Christ will RESURRECT them back to life so they can all happily and abundantly live and exist on earth forever as submissive and obedient subjects of the "KINGDOM of GOD" and fully enjoy the eternal love, kindness, goodness, compassions, generosities, favors, and blessings of the Creator and his Christ for eternity under the loving and kind rulership, guidance, and protection of Jesus Christ as the Creator's Chosen King and Ruler of the heavens and the earth as written in Revelation 11: 15.

This really hits home some of the things that first occurred to me in my deconstruction, and then some. The narrative of Job was the first thing that got me to think "we're all just cosmic chess pieces, aren't we?" That was the question that started it all. And then my question "If love seeketh not her own and God seeks His own glory, how can God be love?" Thank you so much for verbalizing these things and so much more 😊

@@artstation707 You guys really are brainwashed defenders of Hebrew fiction aren't you? --------------------------------------------------------- *This website is designed to spread the vicious truth about the Bible. For far too long priests and preachers have completely ignored the vicious criminal acts that the Bible promotes. The so called God of the Bible makes Osama Bin Laden look like a Boy Scout. This God, according to the Bible, is directly responsible for many mass-murders, rapes, pillage, plunder, slavery, child abuse and killing, not to mention the killing of unborn children.* I have included references to the Biblical passages, so grab your Bible and follow along. *It always amazes me how many times this God orders the killing of innocent people even after the Ten Commandments said Thou shall not kill.* For example, God kills 70,000 innocent people because David ordered a census of the people (1 Chronicles 21). God also orders the destruction of 60 cities so that the Israelites can live there. He orders the killing of all the men, women, and children of each city, and the looting of all of value (Deuteronomy 3). He orders another attack and the killing of all the living creatures of the city: men and women, young, and old, as well as oxen sheep, and asses (Joshua 6). In Judges 21 He orders the murder of all the people of Jabesh-gilead, except for the virgin girls who were taken to be forcibly raped and married. When they wanted more virgins, God told them to hide alongside the road and when they saw a girl they liked, kidnap her and forcibly rape her and make her your wife! *Just about every other page in the Old Testament has God killing somebody!* In 2 Kings 10:18-27, God orders the murder of all the worshipers of a different god in their very own church! In total God kills 371,186 people directly and orders another 1,862,265 people murdered The God of the Bible also allows slavery, including selling your own daughter as a sex slave (Exodus 21:1-11), child abuse (Judges 11:29-40 & Isaiah 13:16), and bashing babies against rocks (Hosea 13:16 & Psalms 137:9). ***This type of criminal behavior should shock any moral person.*** ***Murder, rape, pillage, plunder, slavery, and child abuse can not be justified by saying that some god says it’s OK.*** If more people would actually sit down and read the Bible there would be a lot more atheists like myself. *Jesus also promoted the idea that all men should castrate themselves to go to heaven:* For there are eunuchs, that were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are eunuchs, that were made eunuchs by men: and there are eunuchs, that made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it (Matthew 19:12). *I don’t know why anyone would follow the teachings of someone who literally tells all men to cut off their privates.* The God of the Bible also was a big fan of ritual human sacrifice and animal sacrifice. *And just in case you are thinking that the evil and immoral laws of the Old Testament are no longer in effect, perhaps you should read where Jesus makes it perfectly clear:* It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid (Luke 16:17). There are many more quotes on this topic at my Do Not Ignore the Old Testament web page. *If you follow the links on this site you will learn about all the nasty things in the Bible that are usually not talked about by priests and preachers.* www.evilbible.com/ Watch *"Context!!!!!!"* by NonStampCollector (A good video for believers who try to rationalise Biblical atrocities and immorality by saying "Out of context".)

God is love means the Trinity is relationally complete in love. God the Father loves Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit loves the Father and loves the Son. It does not mean God = Love. It means that God has always loved the Godhead. How God relates to sinners is a different matter. God is not required to love evil persons - which is the summation of the fallen human race. Do you love Komodo dragons? Should you love them?
