I kinda wish that Tyr’s Armor woulda been an epic armor I personally think that one looks the best. I think that the Valkyrie looks the best though that gold looks so good combined with the look of the fully upgraded axe and blades with golden pommel and grips.

Plus i Think that the defense sets are pretty wack because c'mon. If you wanna play like a god you should have armour which don't have much defense. The deadly mist set is the best one for my play style it’s a perfect match for an offensive/defensive playstyle not to mention I think it’s balanced out by the slow heath regen and the boost to runic attacks

I use the cursed mist set with chilling storm talisman + Gift of Apollo. You can spam the stance stab attacks in blades or use a runic attack and u’re basically a tank with crazy dps

In lower difficulty wear which is the coolest for you. On Give me GoW difficulty the Valkyrie set is by far the best. It gives you superior stats (430 points in total) which is roughly 100 more than other sets. Its also balanced and have better perks. The Muspelheim set perks are crap for that difficulty becouse you dont want to get hit in the first place and the regeneration from Ivaldi set makes little to no difference on that dificulty.

Love Deadly Mist set, strength focused set with some decent runic damage. Also love the underrated Smoldering Brimstones set, it doesn't give so many stat points overall and deals crap runic damage but those axe swings will hit like a truck, really good on 1v1 situations. It was the set i used to beat the Valkery queen. Tried Deadly Mist there but there were no many windows to use my runics so switched to Smoldering and got her in my first try with it

@@SebastianBaos Well i was not making use of the runic stat that Deadly Mist gives since i was barely using runic attacks so i swapped to Smoldering Brimstone which gives you more strength so i was able to deal more damage with normal axe combo attacks. But if you like to throw runics in the mix then Deadly Mist will be better option

I kinda wished they had like a kinda call back to the other games, like a skirt armour with some greek symbols, the braces on the arms are pur gold with Cerberus heads and a kind of makeshift Golden Fleece on the side of the arm but with like a bull or cow head instead of a ram on there. Oh man, apparently the Smoldering Brimstone armor is bugged, since it has a lesser effect on your level compared to the others despite also being level 8. Such a shame! You can still push your build to level 9 wearing it, but you'll need more level 7 enchantments.

You need to Remake the Video... Only 1 reason why... You got Runes in your Slots on the Deadly Mist... Also, remove the runes from your Tailsman - OR Swap your talisman for one with no slots and next to no bonus attributes. This way we get a good look at Set Base stats when maxed out... or at least properly..

Yea, I beat the game and all of a sudden the best armor and weapons upgrades are at the end of the game. It's a shame the travelers don't respawn after you kill them, I still need to upgrade my traveler set. Sure there are some in the trials realm, but the travelers don't drop the materials needed for upgrades, they only drop hacksilver.

What is becoming apparent, if I'm not mistaken, is that Perfect Asgardian Steel is only dropped as a RANDOM drop from Valkaries. I've killed the 8 and struggling to kill the queen on Challenge mode. I expect to be able to upgrade the Valkarie Armor set fully after killing the queen, but there's also a Pommel (Wing of the Fallen) that requires Perfect Asgardian Steel. I might not be able to complete the set. This could really piss me off! Even if she does drop 2, which will be a relief, there's not a lot of point getting the armor when there's nothing left to fight.

A year later I finally started playing the game. I'm probably more than half way through it. Just killed Balder. This game is beyond epic. I was so caught up with RDR2 and was surprised GOW won GOTY. But I now know why. I'm starting to get bummed knowing the story is winding down. These armor sets are sick. Once the game is completed do more challenges happen? I'll be definitely getting the next installment when it comes out.

For me its the zeus armour but its defence is a bit bad...if you get hit once, you'll sustain more damage than normal, but its strength is amazing

I find the grinding challenges of the two new realms a little tedious and unnecessary but the armor I currently have equipped is the Armor of the Traveler. I WISH I could only have the one pauldron armor cause I want to see Kratos' tattoos so I have to find an armor that does so or downgrade. Shaking my head.

I can't decide what armor set to go for 😭😭😭 Also I haven't beat it yet but after completing the story, will be be able to farm/fight enemies constantly or are you limited to one spot you have to go to farm materials. Would suck if there were no enemies after completing story like far cry 5

Great sets of armor. However, getting them is not so great. In fact, collecting the crafting materials is a pain in the ass, thanks to the poison and the fact that you lose everything if you die. I'm not enjoying myself.

Sure, it's easy to get the armor. But if you want to upgrade it as well, you're going to have to venture deep into the realm, past traps and shit to find what you need. And especially if you want to unlock the goodies in the workshop, just grinding the first area over and over would take forever.

All right, but how far in did you go? How big is the place? I haven't bothered to risk losing everything yet, so I've only stayed in the first area. But that area doesn't give you what you need for the upgrades.

I believe it does. Even with only one run. Mostly you have to grind Niflheim and Musplheim to get all these. I think the game gives you enough. I saw people have everything maxed out in their first Playthrough. Or right before NG+ came out.

I guess the best bet is to take luck gems (or how they're called in english) As far as I have seen, Tyr's Armor is the only one with luck, but that's only a purple one...
