Fun fact: For anyone that may still be wondering how Kratos survived that " suicide " at the end, it goes back to the end of the first GOW. Since the gods wouldn't rid him of his visions for killing Ares, Kratos tried to kill himself, only to be stopped by Athena, saying that a mortal who killed a god shouldn't die by his own hand. And from that point forward, Kratos was cursed to never be able to die by his own hand.

Kratos only wanted to kill three Greek Gods Poseidon for causing the death of Kratos's mother; Ares for killing Kratos's wife and daughter, and Zeus for killing his younger brother Deimos, and the other Greek Gods only died for getting in Kratos's way, but you're right Helios and Hermes should've never picked a fight with Kratos.
