Explanation: The leviathan axe was infused by jormungandrs venom in 2018 in god of war Ragnarok the first fight with Thor when Kratos hits him in the stomach leaving the wound meaning Thor was posioned and forseti thought someone in Asgard tried to poison Thor not knowing it was the cause of the leviathan axe.

This could be great supporting speculation for people who don't believe that Kratos poisoned Thor. I ran into someone who said Fimbulvetr wears down all things, therefore Leviathan lost all it's enchantments including Jörmungandr's venom Eitr, but the poison is less magical and more physical imo. However, personal opinions aside the eitr venom is primordial in nature, closely related to Ymir. Thanks to Atreus' later commentary it is safe to assume that like the primordial realms, Fimbulvetr had little to no effect on more primordial forces.

In the first game the Leviathan Axe was imbued with the World Serpent’s venom. When Kratos hit Thor with it the wound didn’t heal; perhaps making the god weaker overall. The poison of the Serpent is what kills Thor in the mythological Ragnarok. So Forseti probably thinks that because Thor isn’t healing and is maybe looking weaker (actually withdrawal from alcoholism) someone is trying to poison him.
@MaxMikescrool12 жыл бұрын
@@bryguy1502 Except this last point is moot. Forseti has already seen what alcohol withdrawl looks like. It is also not Thor's first time practicing sobriety. Thor was sober before all this and has only recently broke his commitment and began sobreity again.
