But this is NATHAN speaking FOR God. Darkmatter's BIG FAIL is FAILING to accurately represent the Bible. If he represented it PROPERLY he wouldn't be athiest for long. Athiesm is a position of ignorance. Even the "fiction" (its not fiction, belief that the Bible is "myth" is one of the athiest's faithbelief) Bible makes that FACT clear!! The wives were IN HIS CARE. That doesn't mean that He gave them to david to marry. If athiesm is so logical and smart explain how it can drive one to getting people to go on against a Being THEY DONT BELIEVE EXISTS. their devotion against God is RELIGIOUS. Also explain how it can cause people to mess up the facts THIS BAD. Yes, he strawmanned the Old Testament here.

@@MasonTorrey 1:49 'reverse Christianity' "you were supposed to be deleted" That's a concept foreign to Christianity. Annihlationism is a fake. 1:59 "major morality traps" Now this is DM sticking his own opinion in there. Christianity does not involve someone asserting that the Christian's faith is "moral trap". What dm would have us believe, apparently, is to make moral judgments based on arbitrary (arbitrary if athiesm is true) metrics and feelings, rather than clear commands that are punished/rewarded in the Bible?? Rando morality doesn't seem like a very stable moral system. Ironic, dm believes from faith that hes a good person but he aint. All who reach a certain age, Biblically and statistically, have done atleast 1 sin in life. Christian morals strong and better, RandoMorality is weak and shoddy. And if the RandoMoralist takes the stance of Stalin, then who's to stop him? Throwing "its bad" at someone who disbelieves in their Creator will rarely if ever work. Christianity on the other hand provides a tougher and superior moral system. God's Commands are out of His love. Dont let the dark matter darken your mind and heart.
@MasonTorrey10 ай бұрын
@@drillyourarguments That's not a strawman. That is merely pointing out an opinion of interpretation. The fact that 90% of churches interpret the Bible differently that what you do doesn't mean those churches are strawmanning your version of Christianity. Churches aren't strawmanning each other, they are just disagreeing and the particular body of beliefs and interpretations that this video is portraying is just that. If this video portrayed your particular interpretation of the Bible, then I guess you'd have to attack it in some way other than strawman. In regards to your second point, atheism doesn't drive anyone to do anything. Most atheists keep their opinions to themselves. You never hear anything from them. There are some, however, that see the harm caused by religion and they speak up. They are not 'driven by atheism' as you say, but driven by the desire to put a stop to all the atrocities caused by individuals and groups in the name of their interpretation of their particular religious dogma and holy texts.

Wizards aren’t real. If they were, why haven’t they fixed stuff like climate change, or world hunger? The most well known magicks are conjuring, and elemental spells. If they could conjure, they could summon forth both food, and special magical implements to help grow food. And most elemental spellls could slow climate change to a crawl, with highly advanced magicks being able to restore the environment entirely. Three to four generations? The supposed Original sin was a lot longer than 4 generations ago and we all get put on the hook for that one by default. The entire religion can't function without inventing a universal wrongdoing that everyone is guilty of regardless of what they do or don't do. Because it is ultimately an emotional manipulation that plays on guilt and fear to convince people they must obey.

THANK YOU for keeping these up. As the US becomes more every day a theocracy it's good to see something not pushing religion.

" US becomes more every day a theocracy" This is either sarcasm or a big fat lie. Joker Biden is in power, if the dems stay in power, expect an atheocracy, like Soviet Ruzzia, Natzi Germany, Xi's China, and/or Kim' N.korea. Also he is pushing religion, the religion that believes out of faith that "Christian bad!! Christian bad!!1"

@@makarymetzger2627 Catholic is not Christian. Catholics buy a bunch of unBiblical ideas like purgatory, bread turns into some of Jesus' body, and more. Compormised worldview = compromised thought processes = bad actions due to compromise. Did you know hitler was an evolutionist? he didn't believe the Adam and Eve account and instead bought the lie that "we evolved".

This was my first realisation that the Christian god wasn’t fair, and started the process towards disbelief.

Holy crap I didn't think of that. Adam and Eve are the OG parents, and we're being punished because of them! So much for the bible saying we won't...
