@@annistonreese838 have you looked up the "true story" it's based on? The movie is lightly based on some instances of students debating with their professors. That's the extent of it. The characters, events, etc. are entirely fiction. And even if it was based on a true story it does not mean that things cant be twisted to fit a narrative.

I'm not sure if this can be called 'God's Not Dead 3'. Think about it, they choose to leave the 3 out of the title name. I think its a direct sequel to 'God's Not Dead' and continues the storyline there. But I could be wrong. It's just in the end of 'God's Not Dead 2', Pastor Dave was arrested due to charges related to not follow an request from the state. But there is no reference to it in the Trailer. I mean there is a small scene of him in a Jail cell, so it could very well be. Just find it odd that they went a different route with the title name this time around. Love the stories and look forward to them every time. Always replay one of them when I need a little pick me up.
